    Yahoo Inc.'s first-quarter earnings soared as the Internet heavyweight posted its first quarter of revenue growth in a year and a half and surprised analysts with strong profit gains.

    The revenue growth leaves no doubt that Yahoo is emerging a multi-year slump. Since Carol Bartz took Yahoo's helm at the beginning of last year, she has cut noncore businesses and kept its focus on a few key operations.

    Must be nice to have business in America while only paying India wages. No wonder profits are up but jobs and income in the U S are not...
