Yes, it's time to impeach Obama

Never before in the history of the United States has an occupant of the White House displayed less concern for the Constitution and the rule of law than Barack Obama.

It's about time somebody said it: It's time to impeach Obama.

Both Obama and his vice president stated explicitly and emphatically while serving in the U.S. Senate that the president did not have authority to take the nation into armed conflict without the express will of the U.S. Congress or unless the nation was under attack or faced imminent attack.

Sen. Joe Biden said a president who did so should be impeached.

I don't often agree with Obama and Biden, but they were right then. And it's time for them to be accountable to the same rule of law they saw so clearly in 2006 and 2007.

Watch Biden for yourself, if you think I exaggerate or misrepresent his point of view. http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo ... iden_2007/

This nation is in crisis – economic, moral, political, security.

We need leadership that is not going to resort to the old "wag the dog" trick – getting our military forces involved in fatuous foreign conflicts that have nothing to do with national security and national interests, but everything to do with turning the public's attention away from their own shortcomings and misguided domestic policies.

There were plenty of grounds to impeach Obama before Libya, as a WND special report prepared late last year revealed: http://superstore.wnd.com/SALES/The-Cas ... ial-Report jeopardizing America's ability to defend itself; undermining the free-enterprise system; corrupting democratic institutions; transferring massive amounts of power and wealth from American citizens to extremist special-interest groups whose loyalty lies not with the Constitution but with a global socialist movement.

However, misusing the U.S. military forces for some globalist mission without any accountability to the people or the rule of law should represent the last straw for every American – no matter their political ideology.

From the man who led the effort to oust Clinton from office, "Catching Our Flag: Behind the Scenes of a Presidential Impeachment"

After all, if what Obama and Biden told us a few years ago about reckless use of military power was true then, surely it is true today.

It's past time for the Republican-dominated House of Representatives to go on offense against these outrages. They were elected in November for just this purpose – for a time such as this.

America faces strategic threats around the world. The same people ordering our military forces into harm's way in Libya have stripped our armed forces of the tools they need to meet those challenges. Throwing them into a third military front in a third Muslim country with no clear objectives, no definition of victory and no exit strategy is not only foolhardy, it is treasonous.

Not only has the administration, elected in the name of peace, thrust U.S. military assets into a third war, it has placed us on the side of forces allied with the global jihadists. No good can come from such a mission – only disaster.

I take a backseat to no one in a desire to see Moammar Gadhafi go. He is a despicable dictator, a murderer, a terrorist, a tyrant with American blood on his hands. But Obama's stated mission in Libya has nothing to do with regime change – at least not in any positive sense. It is merely about creating a temporary balance of terror in the North African state – and then, apparently, letting the chips fall where they may. Worse yet, there is evidence the globalist forces want to use Libya as some sort of proving ground for their bizarre experiments in nation-building. We've been down that dead-end too many times in the past.

It's not enough for us to hold our collective breath until 2012, hoping America can find qualified, mature, experienced, pro-American, pro-Constitution leadership. Obama is systematically destroying the country and all it stands for.

It's time to gear up the impeachment machinery. Let the opening argument be made by Obama and Biden themselves.
