It would be nice if ALIPAC could mobilize millions of people around the country to did this on every single major highway in every major city. The media would not be able to ignore such an event. We could use that opportunity to call for a third party and get the word out that Democrats and Republicans alike are not looking out for us. We need to impeach Obama and fire every single member of the Senate and House. Why does ALIPAC not do this? Is money a problem? Can it buy ad space on big websites to accomplish this?

MS: Two dozen take part in Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment rally

Posted: Saturday, August 17, 2013 1:02 PM EST Updated: Saturday, August 17, 2013 1:10 PM EST By Charles Herrington, Reporter - email

Demonstrators hold American flags and "Impeach Obama" signs during a rally on the Interstate-59 Exit 76 overpass in Jones County Saturday.

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A group of Jones County-area residents gathered on a local interstate highway overpass and held signs Saturday demanding the impeachment of President Barack Obama. They took part in what they said was a nationwide demonstration called, Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment.

About two dozen demonstrators held up "Impeach Obama" signs and American flags over both northbound and southbound lanes of I-59 at the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport exit.

"There's the feeling that there's a sense of lawlessness right now, that this administration and the politicians in (Washington) D.C. are legislating and governing without accountability," said rally organizer Cindy Wilkerson.

She said more than 30,000 other people across the country were also taking part.

Participants also said they would be holding similar demonstrations in the near future.

Residents join in national protest campaign against President Obama

    Leanne Lacy

LEXINGTON – Fed up with a perceived overreach of power and lack of accountability in the Obama Administration, local resident Leanne Lacy decided to do something about it.

Lacy joined a national network of protesters with Overpasses.org, whose goal is to protest the controversial tenure of President Barack Obama and call for his impeachment.

As the Central Nebraska leader of Overpasses.org, Lacey was holding signs protesting the current Presidential Administration along with fellow resident Troy McDermott early Tuesday morning at the Adams Street overpass above Highway 30.
“We have 40,000 members nationwide and demonstrations in all 50 states,” Lacey said. “This is not Democrats or Republicans it’s just concerned citizens.”
McDermott was holding a sign that read “Impeach Obama,” while Lacey was holding a sign that read “Honk 4A Free Republic Stand Up Citizens for America.”

McDermott was also holding a sign reading “Extortion 17,” referring to the tragic incident in Afghanistan two years ago where 17 U.S. Navy Seals flying in a Chinook helicopter where shot down, some of whom where known to be members of the elite Seal Team 6 – the team that hunted down and killed terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden.
“We’re memorializing Extortion 17,” Lacey said.

Lacey said the identity of the team that hunted down Bin Laden was not known a few years ago until Vice President Joe Biden was reported to have confirmed publicly that the mission was accomplished by Seal Team 6.
“Three weeks later the Seals were shot down in Afghanistan,” Lacey said.

Besides petitioning Congress to investigate the suspicious questions raised by the biggest loss of U.S. Navy Seals in the program’s history, Lacey encouraged residents to better inform themselves about the checks and balances of the U.S. Government’s different branches and hold Obama accountable.

“Mr. Obama can’t make laws,” Lacey said. “He’s making executive orders into law. He’s arrogant now. Only Congress can legislate.”

Columbia Overpass to Impeach Obama:Save The Clowns!

Not sure which Columbia--SC or MO. I'm tending to think SC.

Police officer questions right to have signs. Apparently, "someone" complained that they were a distraction. My guess is Obama supporter.

ST. GEORGE – “Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment” is a national protest that is currently taking place across the United States. To the participants, there is corruption currently taking place in the United States government and they want to raise public awareness. It is a call to action, a call for impeachment of the president.
The temperature was over 100 degrees today, but protesters did not let that hinder their goal. Southern Utahns gathered for protest at Interstate 15’s Exit 6 overpass on Bluff Street beginning at 10 a.m.
“There is support in numbers,” Jody Lynn Wilkerson said, “we are tired of seeing the things that are happening and we want them to change.
    (report continues below)

The protesters at the St. George overpass said they want to make their motto clear:
“It is not about right or left,” Wilkerson said, “but it’s about what is right and wrong.” The protesters want to band together to make a change: A change for the better, they said.
One major point that protesters across the nation feel is a determining factor to impeach Obama is the fact that the Constitution is not being followed by the government.
“A lot of people in America are fed up with Obama and lawlessness and all of the things he has done to disrespect the Constitution,” Toquerville resident Stefanie Williams said. “I am fed up with Obama and his blatant disregard for the rule of law.”
One protester drove by the protest on Bluff with his wife and jumped out of his car to join the protest to raise awareness.
“I heard about this protest initially on Facebook…There were people here, so I jumped out of the car,” St. George resident Michael Lythgoe said. “A few of us have got to stand up for what’s going on in this country and I am more than willing to stand here.”
Over 30 Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment protests took place today on a national scale. States that participated include Florida, Georgia, New York, Arizona and … Utah.
The St. George protesters are planning to participate in another protest upcoming next Saturday.
