We keep hearing that it takes 60 votes in Senate to do this and that, and the Democrats even in the minority seem to always be able to stop the so-called winners in their tracks. How is that?
And what about the "Nuclear Option?" Why is that the Democrats can change Senate rules but the Republicans cannot do the same thing to get their agenda items passed?

The D's seem to get what they want without the nuclear option even when the R's are in power. Remember them crowing about a funding bill last year. Dancing with joy, said they got everything they wanted. That is just one of the reasons I keep saying we no longer have a 2 party system, we have a UNIPARTY, and it sure isn't conservative. They do all this play fighting, put on a good show, and laugh behind our back, because they are all on the same team. Look at this shut down, suppose to be for wall funding, and has somehow developed into an amnesty. Look at Kushner, if he isn't doing the D's bidding, then I have no idea what to call it.

You're certainly right about one thing, when the Democrats are in charge it is always their way or the highway, but once the Republicans are in charge it always seems to be all about compromise. Our problem is there are just too many darn RINOs in the Republican party.
