QUESTION FOR THE NATIONAL GOP?
SO TELL US HOW MANY MORE REPUBLICANS DO WE HAVE TO KEEP SENDING TO WASHINGTON TO KEEP THE DEMOCRATS FROM STOPPING OUR AGENDA EVEN WHEN THEY ARE IN THE MINORITY?
We keep hearing that it takes 60 votes in Senate to do this and that, and the Democrats even in the minority seem to always be able to stop the so-called winners in their tracks. How is that?
And what about the "Nuclear Option?" Why is that the Democrats can change Senate rules but the Republicans cannot do the same thing to get their agenda items passed?

Actually, after the Democrats started using the so-called nuclear option to confirm judges, the Republicans started doing the same thing. The nuclear option for individual bills is not a good idea because the Republicans will unfortunately lose control of the Senate one day. Nope, over the long haul that is not something I would want to see.
