Ron Paul Co-Sponsors Obama Impeachment Bill

Ron Paul has co-sponsored a bill which would impeach Obama for going to war without getting congressional approval after he sent troops into Libya to overthrow Gadaffi.

In the H.CON.RES.107.IH bill it gives the following description for it’s conception,

“Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.”

The architect of the bill Walter Jones was the Congressman who recently questioned Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta if the president would get permission from Congress to go to war.

However Panetta through a number of meetings has continue to affirm his believe that the president can do what he wants so long as there is enough fear or threat.

Ron Paul has also voted for bills which he felt he was 100% behind and with such a big name supporting the bill it is more likely it can now get more co-sponsors.

It shouldn’t be a surpirse that Ron Paul signed the bill to impeach Obama after comments he made last year about the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki in which he said,

“I put responsibility on the president because this is obviously a step in the wrong direction,”

“We have just totally disrespected the Constitution.”

In reply to a question he was asked about Obama Ron Paul said

“I think the impeachment process would be possible,”

The mainstream media have not said anything about the bill and are unlikely to do so any time soon which is why we need to make sure this goes viral.

If more people in congress co-sponsor this bill it will force either an impeachment or a change in attitude from an administration which believes Congress is ceremonial.

Obama To Be Impeached

Representative Walter Jones has filed an Impeachment Resolution H.CON.RES.107.IH against Obama because he went to war with Libya without asking congress for approval.

The Resolution states the following;

“Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.”

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it
“Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring),
That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.”

The people who filled the bill will try and get co-sponsors to impeach Obama if he is unable to get authorisation for the previous actions in Libya and any going forward, such as Syria.

This story is being ignored by the mainstream media so please share this and let everyone know about Obama being impeached.

The GOP in Illinois has extended the deadline to become a delegate/alternate delegate for the state convention in June. There are still vacancies just waiting to be filled. All that needs to be done is for you to make a phone call and can afford $50. It can all be done from home. (I would however strongly suggest that you do not give away who you support. I've heard that people who they "think" won't support romney conveniently get left off the list) A friend recently became an alternate delegate himself only a few days ago. In his county all the delegate spots were full but his county chairman said that a TON of alternate seats were vacant. I have yet to hear of a convention where ALL the delegates showed and no alternates were needed.

If you're in Illinois and want help to become a delegate for Ron Paul, either I or my friend would be more than willing to help. All I need from you is to know what county you live in and I can help you right away.

If you DO become a delegate, it would be best to get in contact with other Ron Paul supporters going to the convention and coordinate. You can do that by emailing Laurie Bluedorn lauriebluedorn@gmail.com

She'll need your name, email address, cell phone, county, and which days of the convention attending.

There may still be vacancies for you to become a delegate for the Indiana Republican State Convention in June. I've been helping people in my home state of Illinois: ☛ Attention Illinois residents who still want to become delegates! | Peace . Gold . Liberty | Ron Paul 2012 and would like to do the same in other states, especially those that I heard the campaign hasn't done much in. Here's a simple to-do list on how you can become a delegate or alternate delegate if there are slots still available to do so.

Call your county chairman from the list provided below and follow these easy steps:

1) Ask if you can speak to someone regarding a question you have about the upcoming state convention in June.

2) say "I live in the xxxx county and was wondering if there are any vacancies available to become a delegate or alternate delegate for the state convention in June." They will either answer with yes, no, or only alternates.

3) If they say yes or only alternates, ask what the person needs from you in order to do to become one.

4) Then do the obvious, give them what they need.

5) Ask: What do I need to bring with me to the convention to show that I am a delegate?

6) What's the best way to contact you if I think of any questions or have an issue in the future.

That's it. If you are still able to become a delegate that's how you do it. They'll have the information you need and those are the questions you should ask. Here is a list of the phone number you would need to call depending on what county you live in. I really tried my best, but I couldn't find all the numbers. Find your county and the number next to it is the one you need to call to ask the questions above:

The Indiana Republican State convention is June Fri 8th - Sat 9th at the Indiana convention center
June 8th: Sign-in for District Caucuses will begin at 5:30 p.m. (DELEGATES ONLY) in front of each district caucus room. District caucuses will convene at 6:30 p.m. Only credentialed delegates will be allowed to enter the district caucuses.

June 9th: We will be nominating the Republican candidate for: Lieutenant Governor Attorney General Superintendent of Public Instruction and Electing National Convention Delegates and Alternates
