Are you allowed to talk about about other posters here like that? I do not work for Romney or any one else, except for my country.

Considering you must have a thousand posts here in support of a man who supports illegal aliens, I don't think the posts I post will off set your agenda to get Ron Paul in the White House.

Here are a couple of FORMER Ron Paul supporters from the Ron Paul website confirming the post I posted above.

Can no longer support Ron Paul: morning-after pill

Submitted by (name deleted) on Sat, 09/24/2011 - 12:41

I can no longer support Ron Paul. I've discovered that in his book Liberty Defined, Ron Paul advocates the morning-after pill:

So if we are ever to have fewer abortions, society must change again. The law will not accomplish that. However, that does not mean that the states shouldn't be allowed to write laws dealing with abortion. Very early pregnancies and victims of rape can be treated with the day after pill, which is nothing more than using birth control pills in a special manner. These very early pregnancies could never be policed, regardless. Such circumstances would be dealt with by each individual making his or her own moral choice.

I had previously understood that Ron Paul would nullify Roe v. Wade, allowing the states to make their own laws, while using the bully pulpit to encourage them to outlaw abortion. The problem is he is using his current bully pulpit to encourage the morning after pill.
I will be removing my Ron Paul bumper sticker and be sitting out the 2012 presidential election.

    Check out the Constitution Party

I am with you (name deleted). I too revoked my support of Ron Paul after I heard what he said about the morning after pill during the 9/22 debate. However, we need not sit out this election. I have begun researching the Constitution Party. With them, you get what is good about Dr. Paul along with a strong pro life stance. They do not promote the use or distribution of abortifacient drugs. If their nominee really does give his or her full support to the party platform, s/he will get my vote.

Actually, now that I went to the link you so nicely provided to access all of my posts, there is a marvelous collection of reasons on those links to NOT vote for Ron Paul.

So thank you for making it easy!

PS.....One more time, I do not work for Romney. But I will vote for him, if he is the one who wins the primary. Honestly, it will be a vote against Obama rather than a vote for Romney. I am not crazy about Romney, but the pickins are thin.

    Armed Chinese Troops in Texas!

    Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKfuS6gfxPY

This talk is called "Imagine" and it was given by Ron Paul on March 11, 2009. The original text of the talk is below:

Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests."

Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up checkpoints on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops, and overwhelmingly thought America would be better off without their presence.

Imagine if some Americans were so angry about them being in Texas that they actually joined together to fight them off, in defense of our soil and sovereignty, because leadership in government refused or were unable to do so. Imagine that those Americans were labeled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions, and routinely killed, or captured and tortured by the foreign troops on our land. Imagine that the occupiers' attitude was that if they just killed enough Americans, the resistance would stop, but instead, for every American killed, ten more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed. Imagine if most of the citizens of the foreign land also wanted these troops to return home. Imagine if they elected a leader who promised to bring them home and put an end to this horror.

Imagine if that leader changed his mind once he took office.

The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people that live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. We would not stand for it here, but we have had a globe-straddling empire and a very intrusive foreign policy for decades that incites a lot of hatred and resentment towards us.

According to our own CIA, our meddling in the Middle East was the prime motivation for the horrific attacks on 9/11. But instead of re-evaluating our foreign policy, we have simply escalated it. We had a right to go after those responsible for 9/11, to be sure, but why do so many Americans feel as if we have a right to a military presence in some 160 countries when we wouldn't stand for even one foreign base on our soil, for any reason? These are not embassies, mind you, these are military installations. The new administration is not materially changing anything about this. Shuffling troops around and playing with semantics does not accomplish the goals of the American people, who simply want our men and women to come home. 50,000 troops left behind in Iraq is not conducive to peace any more than 50,000 Russian soldiers would be in the United States.

Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity. It is the only foreign policy that will not bankrupt us in short order, as our current actions most definitely will. I share the disappointment of the American people in the foreign policy rhetoric coming from the administration. The sad thing is, our foreign policy WILL change eventually, as Rome's did, when all budgetary and monetary tricks to fund it are exhausted.

    Ron Paul Rocks Values Voters

http://c3244172.r72.cf0.rackcdn.com/wp- ... 017242.jpg Large Photo at the link

Ron Paul speaks to supporters at the meet and greet following his speech at the 2011 Values Voters Summit.

I just returned from the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC where Ron Paul won the straw poll and in my estimation, won over a lot of new converts.

Values voters are perhaps best described as Americans of faith who are concerned about this country’s moral health as well as its fiscal standing. The two are not only compatible but inextricably entwined, as no truly moral nation would saddle its children with the unfathomable burden our government does today. No morally upstanding nation would send its best and bravest into battle for vague and undefined reasons. Few if any Americans consider it moral to surrender their concrete historic liberties for a questionable security.

Paul explained his views to the audience, both as a concerned American and a concerned Christian, receiving a standing ovation from the packed crowd. Paul quoted different verses from the Bible to make his case for liberty, and it was obvious to many in the audience that this was not just another typical politician before them, anxious to wear his religion on his sleeve for mere political expediency.

Such intellectual and moral honesty was refreshing to those who could tell that Paul really meant every word he spoke. Likewise, it was not at all surprising to the countless in attendance who already knew that Ron Paul always means every word.

Ron Paul Places First in 2011 Values Voter Summit Straw Poll

Handily wins 37 percent of votes cast in key contest

LAKE JACKSON, Texas–2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul placed first in the 2011 Values Voter Straw Poll today garnering an impressive 37 percent of the total number of votes cast.
In placing first, Dr. Paul placed ahead of Herman Cain, Rick Santorum and Rick Perry who placed second, third and fourth with a mere 23, 16 and 8 percent, respectively.

Held annually each year since 2007, the Values Voter Summit presidential straw poll is seen as a benchmark for how well Republican candidates will appeal to Christian conservative activists. Endorsement by this core activist community is likely to energize voters nationwide that identify with family-friendly issues such as parental decision-making concerning children’s education, less government interference in local communities, and the sanctity of human life.

“Dr. Paul’s standing among Christian conservative voters is growing as people become more familiar with the man as well as the message,”said Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“Dr. Paul is a humble man of faith, who has personally delivered more than 4,000 babies, so he’s well acquainted with the sanctity of life. And importantly, he never fails to connect the worthiness of the liberty message he champions with that system’s moral superiority over schemes that promote coercive government activism leading to the breakdown of the American family,”said Mr. Benton.

Speaking of Dr. Paul’s speech earlier today Doug Wead, a born again Christian and former adviser to two U.S. Presidents, said he was blown away by Dr. Paul’s command of the scripture. ”He offered a scriptural rationale to every position and moved from one passage to the next without hesitation. The man knows the Bible.”

Mr. Wead says that the rising numbers of born again Christians turning to Dr. Paul shows that, “For many of us, the best way to assure our own religious freedom is to get back to the Constitution and defend everybody else’s freedoms too.”
