An immigration enforcement political action committee has joined the growing group of organizations endorsing former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore for the United States Senate.

 During the Republican primary, Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) endorsed Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks to become the permanent replacement for Jeff Sessions, who gave up his seat to become President Trump's attorney general. Luther Strange was picked to replace Sessions but will only hold the seat until the final results of the special election. And Brooks, who finished third in the primary, has now endorsed Moore in tomorrow’s runoff.
ALIPAC President William Gheen says his organization is also confident to endorse Moore now that his campaign has issued a statement about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

"Roy Moore opposes DACA and the Dream Act and supports military patrol of the borders while the wall is being constructed," Gheen relays. "So we are very pleased to see that Roy Moore's campaign is now a test about DACA amnesty, because his opponent, Luther Strange, is supported by the DC establishment and even Trump, who came into town to try and back him."

The ALIPAC president adds that Moore's idea of troops on the border is right on in light of the dangerous activities of the Mexican drug cartels.
"They are paramilitary operations with military grade weapons and a top-down command chain and supply lines, and it's very much a type of war. It's a drug and illegal immigrant war," he points out. "So we … think that Judge Moore is very wise to make that a campaign point, because it helps him really differentiate himself from Luther Strange."
Gheen adds that Strange's responses regarding what he believes should be done about DACA have been evasive.
