Allegedly killed by Abel Hernandez, 28
Abel Hernandez, 28, an illegal alien reportedly living in Lakewood, New Jersey, has been arrested and charged in the December 17, 2011 death of Jean McCarthy, 71.

Hernandez was allegedly intoxicated when he hit head-on the vehicle driven by Ms. McCarthy's husband. The deceased was a passenger in the vehicle. Mr. McCarthy was also seriously injured and required hospitalization.

Hernandez has been charged with a number of crimes associated with the crash, including driving unlicensed, death by auto, hit and run, and DUI.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a detainer on Hernandez.
