But until this state pulls its head out and dumps the dems controlling things nothing will happen.
Also these states are scared to death of the large hispanic orgs , Most states are broke and can't afford the millions of dollars to fight off the lawsuits.

I do applaud Arizona for having the guts to do it.
Nevada will wake up and unite with other Americans on this. Sometimes, in some areas, it just takes them a little longer to figure out how to do it. If they elect Sandoval in November who supports the Arizona law, the there will be several legislators who will introduce the legislation and push it through the Nevada legislature.

Lets go Nevadans. We need you!! Don't fall for the hype, stand tall for what we all know is right. And trust Sandoval in November. He'll take the bull by the horns and with all of US helping him, he and others in your general assembly who want to do this will get it done, and your state and citizens can start realizing the many benefits of having enforced US immigration law.

hat is outstanding news! We just need 4 more states to introduce the bill and then the states will not only control their destiny on this issue, when these bills pass, they will also control the US Senate on the issue of illegal immigration. Wake Up states who don't yet have a bill. It just takes 1 honest patriot in your state legislature to stand with Americans and Unite this country to save our nation from the ravages of illegal immigration.
The Lt Gov of Mississippi and several state senators have expressed their intention of introducing an Arizona-type law also. The state chooses a new governor next year and this is expected to be one of the hot topics. I believe if any part of Arizona's law withstands the review by the courts then we will see as many as two thirds of the states adopting all, or a significant part of, whatever the courts find constitutional. (If it gets to the Supreme Court that could be 90 to 100 % of the Arizona law).

And more than enough to stop illegal immigration into the United States, once and for all. I really don't know what parts of the AZ law they could possibly find unconstitutional, but, whatever, the remainders will suffice.

Missouri already has an immigrations law

Not certain why Missouri is listed as a state that is interested in pursuing an Airzona style immigration bill. Missouri already has an immigration bill (stricter than Arizona's) that has been in effect since Jan 2009.

Once the courts clarify which parts of the AZ law are Constitutional there would not be any basis for a lawsuit, so expect lots of states to adopt part or all of the approved AZ law.

Maybe it's the part of the AZ bill that allows citizens to sue cities and counties who fail to enforce US immigration law. I don't think that part was in the Missouri legislation.

Welcome to ALIPAC RuthM! And many thanks to Missourians for having already passed a very strong immigration enforcement bill.

Judy the map was used like a month ago before the other states decided to try to do something about it

Yes, I realized that after I made the post. I also didn't count them right on the map.

    Thanks for the clarification.

According to the Constitution only the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction over cases that involve States.

So Holder and Bolton are in violation of the Constitution. Him for filing with a Judge and her for hearing the case.
