It has been stated by the programs director that "they had to make this about Illegal Immigration to get FEDERAL FUNDS" for this mockery of our rule of law here In AMERICA,while making a mockery of our own UNITED STATES CITIZENS to further a "political agenda" that requires agitating different races to promote this horrific "plan". This Is crossing the line,and our Federal Government seems to be giving their approval to this Ill advised "MOCK ANTI-GOVERNMENT,WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST,SO VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS MAKE BELIEVE SCENARIO.... This Is really stooping LOW,and this kind of "political pandering" has NO PLACE In a "REPUBLIC" such as ours. What ashame

If it's just a drill why do the "terrorists" in question have to have an
agenda at all? Wouldn't it be more beneficial for everyone if the bad
guys were a totally generic group? Why concentrate on group B when
the next threat my come from group Y and completely ruin what the
security people learned?

It just proves that the real terrorist agenda lies with DHS.

Apparently, the Treynor school system had not planned for the DHS's drill to gain the national attention that it has (in just 24 hours).

Thank you for your comments concerning our county wide crisis drill.

First, please be aware that the scenario set up / background information described within the Exercise Plan IS NOT something that will be part of the upcoming drill and WILL NOT be role played in our school district.

We have been planning this drill for a few months with multiple county agencies and organizations. The only scenario that has been discussed for starting the drill is that a simulated suspect will enter our building (on a weekend using volunteers) and display a weapon. This
event will then trigger our school lockdown procedures and eventually involve our county sheriff's department, city police, local EMS and volunteer first responders, local hospitals, American Red Cross
volunteers, etc...

A memo of clarification was sent out by the local Emergency Management Agency yesterday afternoon but doesn't appear to be circulating as fast as the Exercise Plan details. When I inquired as to the reason the
"background" information was needed in the plan, as it's not relevant to the crisis drill we are wanting to practice, I was informed that it was necessary for receiving Homeland Security Grant funding.

Again, I appreciate your inquiry to our county wide crisis drill. I can understand how someone reading the Exercise Plan would make the assumption we are role playing the scenario leading up to the simulated shooting. However, the "background" scenario is not a part of this drill.

Please rest assured that the details as described on pages 12 and 13 will not be a part of this exercise.

Threats cause Iowa community to cancel controversial anti-terror training


Plans for a Saturday anti-terror drill in western Iowa that would have involved fictional school shootings by white supremacists have been canceled because of threats received by the Treynor public schools, Pottawattamie County officials said today.

“During the last 24 hours, the Treynor school system has received threats to their employees and buildings due to the planned “active shooterâ€

maybe someone who is not in law enforcement should listen to the messages with law enforcement.

Threats should always be taken seriously.
Do not cancel the drill because of this, because training is always good, no matter what situation is.

county officials said in a statement....
what county officials are they so that they can be reassured by americans that everything is okay with a drill and training. its just what was reported that has people upset.
