Americans For Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC.us) is endorsing Texas Republican Representative Brandon Gill today because of Gill's leadership and strong opposition to the Dignity Act Amnesty bill (DIGNIDAD), and birth tourism.

Gill came out strong against RINO GOP Rep. Maria Salazar's DIGNIDAD (HR 4393) Amnesty bill for illegal aliens on the Laura Ingraham Show, saying...

“The people who are living in FEAR are the Americans who can’t put food on the table because their wages have been suppressed because of illegal aliens who are in this country or who have lost their jobs altogether...

And THOSE are the people that we ought to be looking out for. Those are the Americans that we represent. We don’t represent illegal aliens. We represent American citizens!”

Representative Gill is also fighting hard to stop birth tourism where foreign nationals exploit America's current inaccurate interpretation of the 14th Amendment to give citizenship to anyone born on US soil even if their parents are noncitizens or illegal aliens. He supports a new bill called The Citizenship Act, which declares "... any person who enters the United States without authorization or for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism is considered an invader and to amend section 301(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act to exclude the children of invaders from birthright citizenship."

ALIPAC concurs with and supports Representative Brandon Gill's accurate statement that....

“The Constitution was never intended to reward unlawful entry by automatically granting citizenship to the children of those who invaded our country. If we are serious about recognizing that our nation has been invaded, then our laws should reflect that reality. We should not extend one of the greatest privileges our nation can bestow—American citizenship—to the children of those who entered our country unlawfully as part of that invasion. I’m proud to introduce the Citizenship Act in the House to remedy our code of law.”
