For Kratovil, the staffer said, "we don't know for sure, but we believe he will vote against it." From his site below:

The BRIDGE Resolution reaffirms that the continued peace, prosperity, liberty, and national security of the United States depend upon effective immigration enforcement policies which both welcome lawful immigrants and also prevent individuals from entering or remaining in the U.S. illegally.

Specifically, the resolution states that Congress should:

    • make E-Verify mandatory for all employers, and hold employees accountable as well;
    • provide sufficient border infrastructure and manpower to secure and control our borders; and,
    • reject amnesty and any legal status which pardons those here in violation of our laws.

Sorry William, I do stay to your plan, but I find that I end up on a personal note with them. I have two in the Ca Universities. Both on the Deans List. I explain to them the impact that is already being placed on these kids by allowing illegals to take needed seats in classes. It is surprising how many think the only competition is getting into college. They seem to change their tune when they realize this fight for classes is happening every semester. As the economy goes down classes are being cut and they want to add more and more illegal students to the equation.

He ended up to close to call in the election this year and is more apt to listen to callers. Say you are calling for concerned residents of Escalon.

He is still undecided. Please call him.
Made the call. Left message w/staffer. Staffer will pass on the message.

It's almost 1 PM and I made it through the entire list, except for the offices that are completely closed down. I encountered two busy signals and for the most part I got right through. Of course some of the Wash. numbers weren't accepting calls, so I transitioned to a local office no.

    Jim Hines supports DREAM Act

    Jim Marshall, D-GA OPPOSES

    All others undecided.

I called everyone committed to opposing the act and thanked them. I called all my OHIO congress reps twice. I'm willing to do it again Mon, Tues, Weds.............................

We do not have a Jim Hines on our targeting list. We do have a Jim Himes, but I called that office and staff was adamant that Congressman Himes has not issued any position statements on Dream.

I called Jim Marshall's office and was told he is now opposed. Good work on that one.

Please keep working this list hard and press them for answers.

Starting at the top of the thread with William's request to contact and thank the "No" votes, it is refreshing to hear the "No." Too much of the "Representative has not decided" or "the Representative has not issued a statement", or not reviewed the legislation entirely.

This Congress member's Washington office is closed. They refer you to a district office. Has this person decided yet? Will contact a district office.

Just ringing for now at Olympia. Other office said that they do not take blocked calls.

    Email Congressman Baird.
