Donald Trump Asked to Support English as the Official Language of the United States of America

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is sending a request to the Presidential campaign of Donald Trump to ask if Mr. Trump would support English as the official language of the United States.

ALIPAC endorsed Donald Trump because of his pledge to secure America's borders and enforce our existing immigration laws instead of further undermining both with Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty for illegal aliens. Trump's position mirrors ALIPAC's Platform (view) that has influenced the illegal immigration debate since 2004.

ALIPAC represents Americans of all races, political affiliations, ages, and walks of life who oppose illegal immigration and Amnesty. The platform states, "Congress should make English the official language of America!"

"Both Donald Trump's campaign and America need an issue that brings our citizens together even more than securing the borders," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "American's can't work together or understand each other unless we have common borders and a common language. The powers that be ignore legislation that would make English America's official language and the law that requires new immigrants to be proficient in English! We want to know if Donald Trump agrees with us that English should be the declared to legally be the official language of these United States."

Donald Trump attacked Jeb Bush for speaking Spanish to reporters during the GOP primaries and shortly after that exchange Bush's campaign imploded never to recover! A contrast with Hillary Clinton on this powerful issue could have the same effect.

George Soros backed groups that back Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty for illegal immigrants are attacking Donald Trump for representing the concerns of many conservative based organizations including William Gheen's prior efforts to warn of large numbers of illegal immigrants voting in US elections! Right Wing Watch's Miranda Blue, who works for the George Soros umbrella organization PFAW (People for the American Way), attacked Trump for repeating Gheen's concerns in her latest hit piece titled The Ugly Subtext Of Trump’s Claim That ‘Illegal Immigrants Are Voting All Over The Country’ where she points out, "William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC told Fox News that 'the Obama administration is doing everything it can to make sure as many illegal aliens vote in 2010 although that is a violation of federal law.' ” (view source)

Miranda Blue's organization PFAW has on its board Alec Baldwin who mocks Trump on Saturday Night Live and also employed Scott Foval who was recently fired from Hillary Clinton's campaign apparatus for hiring mentally ill, illegal and homeless people to incite violence at Donald Trump's rallies and events! In 2009, William Gheen of ALIPAC helped the Rivoli Revue create a very popular music video for their song, "Press One For English" after the group came under attack from a Hispanic County Commissioner in Florida who accused them of being "racist" for wanting English as the official language of America. While the song was censored by all major country music stations in America, the music video ALIPAC supported has now been viewed more than 14,756,116 times with a substantial majority "liking" the song. I approve, but I think this is an issue better addressed after he secures the White House. I don't think he is going to get any more votes by raising this issue. I don't think there is anyone out there on the fence wondering if he is going to make English the official language of the US. He has already won them over with his stand on illegal immigration.

I respectfully disagree, from my 12+ years fighting on this issue... English as America's official language is the most powerful issue that could catapult Trump so far into the lead that they cant even lie with biased polls about it anymore.

While our polling data shows 70+ percent of Americans support securing the borders, the polling shows 80-90+ percent support English as our official language. It's the biggest political silver bullet the Trump campaign could deploy at this time and that is why we are asking for his position on it at this critical point near Election Day.

OK, you sound like you know what you are talking about. I'm concerned that he might have a voting bloc of immigration advocates who see the multilingualism of business and government as an aid to legal immigration. But perhaps it is unrealistic to expect that there is any serious constituency that is really supportive of legal immigration in contrast to illegal immigration. More likely, advocacy of legal immigration no longer has any support among those who support immigration. It has entirely been given over to the idea of open borders.

See Speak English Only Rules section. When Customers, supervisors speak only English and efficiency and safety are concerns, you have the right to force employees to speak English.

I would love to see the addition of English being made official in this country to further back our existing laws.
One more brick in the wall! Mr. Gheen is correct. Such a mandate would help assimilation which would actually bring us all together.
