Emergency call for assistance from ALIPAC
Friends of ALIPAC,
We have become one of the largest national organizations fighting against illegal immigration on a relatively shoe string budget! Together, we have used our volunteer power more than our combined financial power to pass tough state laws that crack down on illegal immigration, get more towns and cities into the 287g program, and to defeat Amnesty in 2007.
We raise funds for our base budget twice per year, in an effort to keep our necessary fund raising confined to certain periods and to keep our focus on the work at hand.
Sometimes we raise funds for special projects. Many of you will remember last year, when we put out the call for funds to help us launch 1 million calls into targeted states to stop the Amnesty push in Washington. This tactic, combined with us placing activists into key district offices on the day of the vote proved effective, when no greater quantity of calls, e-mails, or faxes would help.
Our Spring 2008 fund raiser was targeted to complete on April 1. So far, we have only received $18,500 of the $25,000 we must raise to keep ALIPAC's growth and strength on the mark.
We are extending the deadline to April 7 and issuing this emergency appeal for assistance.

ALIPAC has never failed to reach our fund raising goals during the past 3.5 years we have been in operation. We trust that you will not allow us to suffer our first setback. We must advance together as a team to meet the multi-million dollar political assault that will be coming soon, when the government of Mexico and the big corporations launch their ad campaign trying to sell AMNESTY again this year.
If you want ALIPAC to be in a strong condition advancing forward into battle when that happens, instead of digging in to play deep defense then please help with a donation of any amount today via...

If we fail to meet our fundraising goals, then we will have to cancel some projects and make cutbacks in others. The ALIPAC board of advisors have suggested the extra week to reach our goals and are climbing through our frugal finances to increase our efficiency where possible. The first project that will be cut if necessary will be our planned outreach to 30,000 Americans asking them to join ALIPAC. We are launching our candidate operations tomorrow and that effort will not be cut.
We hope to be able to continue our campaigns in the states and on the Federal level in full force. We hope to be able to conduct the most extensive candidate assistance effort in the history of ALIPAC. We hope to reach out to tens of thousands of Americans like us to rally them to our cause. We hope to launch an unprecedented response to take on the lies of the radical left wing groups that are attacking everyone in our movement with lies.
If you approve of these plans, we are counting on you to help make it happen and help us reach $25,000 by April 7!

For those of you that are new to ALIPAC, now would be a great time to chip in and help us with our plans.

ALIPAC is experiencing a 20% lag in donations and we need to understand why. We know that many of you are concerned about the economy. Also, some citizen activists have allowed the McCain victory to dampen their morale. Please keep in mind that the President does not have the power to give amnesty to illegal aliens. However, Clinton, Obama, or McCain will have that power, if the wrong people are elected to Congress this year in 2008! All across America, there are incumbents that have stood with us that need our help. There are challengers lining up to run against the pro-Amnesty legislators. We must give them all the support we can. We need a well funded, united, and strong ALIPAC to do that.
If you are a prior donor that represents the 20% we are not hearing from today, please contact me by phone or e-mail to discuss the reasons so we can address them.
Some of the smaller organizations in our movement are having funding problems and while I will not mention names yet, you may see some of your favorite groups close shop in 2008, if we do not explore and address these problems.
If you prefer to send a check by mail, please mail your check soon so it will arrive before April 7.
Personal checks (no business or corporate checks) can be sent to

We want to thank everyone that has donated already and helped us to reach our current level.
We hope to reach a successful conclusion for our spring fundraiser soon so we can return our full online focus to the battles at hand and ahead.
Should we fail to reach our goals, we expect that the illegal alien supporters will be celebrating on their websites across the web. They will certainly point at our shortfall, as an example of lost support for immigration enforcement.
It's is up to you to say if their smear campaigns and advertising campaigns are succeeding or failing in their attempt to get you to succumb and stand down.
ALIPAC is going to fight with all that we have when things are going well and when they are not. We are committed to reversing illegal immigration and more evidence is coming in each week that illegal immigration is starting to reverse and that our side is winning. Unfortunately, there are too many Americans that only give of their time or funds when the hour is late and we are up against the ropes facing an impending amnesty that would override the states and erase ALL of our work.
Please help us to stay the course and prepare for what comes next by donating today.
Sincerely yours in the cause,
William Gheen

From my email
---
Dear ALIPAC:
I was out of the town for a while.
Of course I don't want them to win. But, unfortunately I can't collaborate with money right now. I just lost my job because of my complaints about the company hiring illegals and I don't have any other job yet.
I really appreciate your e-mails and I would like to participate and help.
I have some recent experiences to share with you, like for example that I sent an e-mail to the Governor Schwarzenegger explaining my situation and they send me to the Federal Government saying that this is a Federal matter!! Can you believe that?
I sure will continue and send the next e-mail to the Federal Government and see who they make responsible for. I wonder if there are not Law about immigrants in California.
I'm thinking to call the media ans see what happens and if someone is able to listen all if they are all deaf.
I know the Spanish language very well. That's why my ex-boss could not manipulate me with the information. But, in my experience these people (who think that to be illegal is irrelevant) as soon as they get a position with some power, they help all the illegals to get a job, accept illegal documents, etc...
I found out that there are to much ignorance about that and the illegals are taking advantages of this.
But the government, why the government is deaf?
I will be more present with you as soon as I organize my life a little better. I'm still paying the consequences of loss my job, either financial and emotional.
Warmly,
Claudia S.

I think the economy is *the* problem. I know people that have been laid off. Several people I know agree me with me that we are already in a recession even in the government refuses to acknowledge it.
I personally contributed before, but so far haven't this time. My household is in negative cash flow and in lockdown mode for spending.
If it hits April 7th and ALIPAC has not made the goal I will break down and contribute even though I really shouldn't.

Hello all, I really couldnt "afford" to donate either but I used my small ebay earnings account and paid via Paypal so it wont keep food off the table or bills unpaid. I live in Alaska (orig from southeast US) and we dont really have as big of an illegal immigration problem as most states but that is not because our laws are that great, its bec it is farther away, colder and the illegals are not that desperate YET. I remain rabid about what the illegals are doing to our country and if it's any cause I will support, it is ALIPAC - the most hard hitting, effective voice the people have to counteract this invasion!
Illegal immigration is costing American hospitals billions of...
