    Confused

I personally think Huckabee is a closet amnesty candidate. But, won't pulling him down - simply give another pro amnesty republican an opportunity to win or get a good enough boost to blow through New Hampshire.

Wouldn't a better approach be to support the candidate(s) that we believe would be strong supporters of our cause?

I understand the need to show Republicans & Democrats alike that we're a force to be reckoned with, but this strategy seems a bit dangerous and confusing.

Tancredo tanked for lack of support. Duncan Hunter seems to be following the same route. Ron Paul at one point didn't think our country needed borders, but now he seems supportive, but beyond a few very loyal, vocal supporters, doesn't seem to have as much traction as I would have thought. I expected his numbers to improve dramatically.

Aren't we watching our possible defenders crash & burn, as we focus on derailing Huckabee? If neither Hunter or Paul comes out of Iowa or New Hampshire in the top 3 - doesn't that spell "curtains" for their campaigns. Paul may survive, he has money. Hunter would be severely damaged, though.

Instead of campaigning against Huckabee - why isn't it a good idea to campaign for someone. Unless we've decided Romney is really going to be a champion for this cause. The people who turn from Huckabee. Where will their votes go?

You are doing a GREAT job William!!!!

Based on recent reports---Huckabee's numbers are starting to take a nose dive!! I heard on Fox today as well, that he has plans to increase his ads over the next few days.

Let's just hope that he gets interviewed again, and says something even more stupid than the things that he said about Pakistan.

    Yes definitely to the truce!!

Because the MAJOR concerns right now are to get Huckabee out of the race by making him lose in Iowa----and McCain out of the race by making him lose in Iowa and New Hampshire!!

Huckabee for President National Chairman Ed Rollins will be a guest on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" at 8 am CT / 9 am ET tomorrow -- Monday, December 31, 2007. Mr. Rollins will discuss the latest campaign developments with Paul Orgel - and then go to the phones.
