Thread: Let the Battle for NC Begin Anew! Reinforcements needed

I wish to express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all of you who wrote the Charlotte Observer regarding their false attack on my character. While they will never print the fine letters you sent in, the message to their leaders is clear. I plan to keep a scrapbook of your letters for my friends and family members, and I can't thank you enough.

Today we are launching the Battle for NC anew!

We need your immediate help. We have tens of thousands of illegal aliens who will soon be migrating out of South Carolina and heading for greener grass here in NC. Our legislature is in the short session in Raleigh, NC for the next few weeks.

While the short session is usually just for the budget bills, we may have a chance of getting some immigration enforcement legislation through, if we work hard and as a team.

We need your help with two items.

Item 1

We need massive amounts of calls and e-mails sent to the NC Legislature asking them to:

A. Put a stop to Representatives Luebke, Harrison, and Glazier's House Bill 2717 "Access to Higher education", which would force our colleges to not check the legal status of students and thus reversing the recent nationally covered decision of our Attorney General baring illegals from NC Community Colleges.

We can stop this bill in committee. Create your own message about why you feel illegal aliens should not be allowed in college and call each committee member at the following link. After you call each one to speak with the Representative, assistant, or voice mail, then send in your e-mail version of your message.

Sample Message (Craft your own distinct message)

"I'm calling Representative _____ to express my opposition to Representatives Luebke, Harrison, and Glazier's bill HB 2717. Illegal aliens should not receive any taxpayer benefits, especially college access. North Carolina is a top destination for illegals in America and the state must do all it can to protect taxpayer resources and turn off the magnetism drawing illegals to NC. Furthermore, it is outlandish to create even the possibility that a NC or American student would not get one of the limited seats in our colleges because of illegal aliens."

B. We need calls and e-mails going to all NC House and Senate Reps. asking for the following.

1. Please stop HB 2717. Illegal aliens should not be in NC Colleges.
2. Please amend this year's budget to stop illegal aliens from receiving any taxpayer resources that are not required by Federal law.
3. Please pass legislation encouraging NC businesses to use the E-Verify system to make sure all of their employees are legal.
4. Please attach language to the budget stating that no more tax monies should go to the La Raza front group El Pueblo. El Pueblo is receiving almost half a million dollars in tax monies each year in grants and is lobbying NC legislators for benefits for illegal aliens!

If you can contact each elected official by phone and then e-mail, then please do so.

If your time is very limited, please select ten House Representatives and ten Senators at random to contact.

Item 2

Join us on the phones or in person on June 18!


IT IS IMPORTANT YOU MAKE YOUR CALLS THIS WEEK TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR OUR HISTORIC EVENTS AND CITIZEN LOBBY EFFORT ON THE GROUND IN RALEIGH ON JUNE 18.

You will receive more details about this tomorrow.

In short, we need every group leader and concerned citizen we can get to join us early in the morning at the NC General Assembly on June 18.

We will be lobbying legislators, asking them to pass immigration enforcement legislation before they leave Raleigh, and warning them of the inbound illegals from SC.

There will be a rally between 11-1 featuring guest speakers who are group leaders and lawmakers.

We hope to have our national supporters ringing the phones off the hooks on the 18th, while we lobby on the ground.

We also hope to broadcast the rally live via streaming audio on the web.

Please make arrangements to join us on the 18th in Raleigh or to be available for intensive calls and e-mails on that day.

Dear Representative Yongue:
Please vote NO on this Bill.
I homeschool because I could not take all the negative attitudes and atmosphere toward my child.

Just the other day I had a high school teacher at my home telling me how awful it is teaching the undocumented (illegal aliens). They get sent to alternative school and suspension, doubling his work of compling at least eight students daily a separate folder of school work to do.

This teacher says they (the illegal aliens) say they, "like the free breakfast and lunch."

Also, we just graduation 60 people with or at 4.0 grade point averages. And guess what out of this group, an illegal alien, could NOT get into RCC. Wonderful! But she got a FREE RIDE TO HARVARD!

Reduce the wasting of North Carolina and federal tax Dollars!

If I may call you by your first name. My name is Steelnpearls, born but not raised in North Carolina.
But I am a former deputy sheriff and now a federal/state statistic for becoming a victim of a heinous crime committed by an illegal ALIEN!
1. Illegals are felons...for they have broken federal immigration law to step foot in this country.
2. They then use illegal documents to do that work you say they are doing for our economy.
3. Thus keeping taxes on the state and or federal levels to be paid.
4. Biblically and by God's laws we are to abide by the laws of Rome IE our nation, state and city, and to abide by God's laws, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's processions. They are breaking all of those laws Mary.
5. Why should I have to heal now since April 30, 2007 from a near fatal car accident when I was insured, licensed and driving in the proper lane on a 4-lane divided highway here in my state of Texas. When an illegal twenty-something Mexican Natl decided he wanted me out of his way and thus hit me from behind on purpose at 60mph. I went air born and lost consciousness. It took 14 min for the firemen to cut me out of my car with the jaws of life. It took Care Flite 17 min to fly me to the hospital. I sustained: a. a completely lacerated spleen
b. two left-side pelvic fractures.
c. one left hip fracture
d. grade 3 concussion
e. Trauma brain injury
f. fracture of all my lumbar spinal bones
g. two 6 cm blood clots that traveled from my right calf into my right lung
h. have lost my sense of smell and taste

Now Mary, here this.....this twenty-something Mex Natl illegal didn't have insurance, no driver's license and was driving his uncle's car and his uncle was ALSO an illegal alien. BTW...this person who hit me had a previous arrest record in another city close in vicinity of my city.
He ran from the scene of the accident. He now has a felony warrant out for him as attempted aggravated vehicular homicide. I want people like this and his uncle to be in my country all criminals!
How would you feel if you walked in my shoes and have lost the ability to have memory. Or have lost your ability to work.
(MOD EDIT) But you want to feed them, house them, give them free services, and if you really knew the immigration laws in Mexico, you'd have your eyes opened to just who is cruel and mean.
If they want to come into this country, then do it like my great-grandparents did it. With legal papers and take time to go through the proper channels that lead to citizenship. That we now have to yield to their language for them that are here illegally galls me.
So you need to find out just how it is in Mexico for illegal aliens on their immigration laws.
Get off your high horse and see the truth for what it is not an emotional entreaty that will as you have found land on deaf ears and create a groundswell of 'get them the heck out of our country now' feelings.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. It is a miracle that you survived. I have had 3 relatives who have been in accidents caused by illegals. One was badly injured. It is a tragedy that is happening more and more often to innocent Americans. I pray that you make a full recovery.
