McCain Campaign Falters Using Offensive False Information
McCain Campaign Falters Using Offensive False Information

Contact: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)

The U.S. Senate campaign of John McCain made a critical error last night when campaign manager Brian Rogers sent out a press release attacking Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's (ALIPAC) endorsement of J.D. Hayworth using faulty information gleaned from a leftist website.
The McCain campaign made the false claim that ALIPAC is "backed" by "white supremacists, neo-Nazis and anti-Semites," using a political attack piece manufactured by the pro-amnesty Anti Defamation League (ADL).
Ironically, the groups cited as supporting ALIPAC's positions against Amnesty for illegal aliens are the same "white supremacist, neo-Nazis and anti-Semite" groups that supported and even endorsed John McCain in the 2008 Presidential races.
"First off, Americans that are against John McCain's and Obama's Amnesty plans for illegal aliens are not racists or Nazis," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Second, we were waiting for someone dumb enough to use that ADL piece and we never dared to hope it would be John McCain! John McCain owes all of ALIPAC's black, Hispanic, and native American supporters a public apology for this insult. "
Americans for Legal Immigration is a multi-racial organization with supporters in all 50 states. Supporter polling indicates approximately 21% of ALIPAC's supporters are minorities and over 7% are Hispanic. The group's platform has stated for five years that "we support a peaceful, non-racist rule of law approach to resolving illegal immigration." The rules on the website clearly state "Language & hatred: No obscene language or racially derogatory comments are allowed...NO RACISM AND NO RACE BAITING" The rules are posted in 10 locations on www.alipac.us
ALIPAC's President, William Gheen, has a background in civil rights campaigns and in the 1990's helped elect women and minorities to historic positions in his home state of North Carolina. ALIPAC has publicly rebuked racist groups for trying to get involved in immigration issues on numerous occasions, and is known nationally for the well-publicized comment: "It will take Americans of every race, party, and walk of life unified to resolve America's illegal immigration crisis."
ALIPAC is well documented online and in the media working with black and Hispanic leaders and groups in the fight against illegal immigration.
"Our initial research shows that a lot more of these racist and neo-Nazi groups have made supportive statements of John McCain than for ALIPAC," said Gheen. "We believe that John McCain's early and fervent use of the worn and torn race card indicates weakness and panic in his campaign. John McCain playing the race card means he is losing this debate and losing this race. This is shocking behavior from a senior member of the U.S. Senate."
Many Americans now consider the first group, pundit, or candidate to play the race card by calling their opponents KKK or Nazis to be the losing side. By resorting to desperate name calling instead of factual debate conveys weakness and desperation.
ALIPAC intends to launch a public awareness campaign on talk radio shows across America to make citizens aware of the efforts of John McCain's campaign to use groups that endorsed his run for President to bash multi-racial organizations like ALIPAC and any American against his Amnesty positions falsely as racists and Nazis.

Guess it is an ego thing with these folks. You lash out at whomever for whatever reason just to make you feel better.
Hopefully the voters of Arizona will send Sen. McCain into retirement and keep him there.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

John's head is in the John
Unbeflippin'lievable. My Senator AGAIN back-flipping. 'Just because he's SOFT on illegal immigration he seems to think that those of us who are NOT are racist crazies. I wonder if he lumps my Sheriff (Joe Arpiao) in that group too?
Wellllllll, JD may have givin me a wrong impression previously, but if the election were next week, Hayworth would have MY vote. B-)

McCain is the bigot in bed with racists like LaRaza, SPLC, ADL, etc, they all support a 30 to 1 immigration advantage for Latin Americans over Asians, Africans, and Europeans. A 30 to 1 advantage for one of the most precious commodities in the world, US Citizenship, intentionally given to one race is extreme racism, maybe as extreme as black slavery was.
If you wanted to look at it a different way you could say they all favor foreigners who take jobs and benefits from Americans, this is discrimination against Americans, it's discrimination based on national origin against Americans, they are racist against Americans!!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Blow it out 'yer ear McAmnesty...
He can call me racist all he wants, in MY book he's a TRAITOR. I'd bet him 100/1 that as an American Indian I have faced more racial discrimination than he will ever see.

It seems when any of these pro-amnesty groups have no solid stand they restort to name calling. This is 5th grade politics. the only conclusion is they have nothing to say. no matter how hard an illegal works he is still costing Americans millions of dollars. That is why our health costs are so high. When you have millions of people going to the ER for a cold the insured have to absorb the cost. The question I have that no one seems to address is why do these representatives want to side with illegals and special interest groups and not the people who elected them? We have 15 million Americans out of work and more every day yet they don't want E-Verify to make sure those jobs go to Americans
