National Group Moves to Stall Sotomayor Nomination

National Group Moves to Slow Sonia Sotomayor Nomination Process

    August 5, 2009

    CONTACT: ALIPAC, Williamg@alipac.us, (866) 703-0864

The Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has activated their national support network of over 25,000 supporters to ask the US Senate to delay the nomination vote on Sonia Sotomayor until after the summer break instead of rushing the process through beforehand.

"We think everyone in America wants Washington, DC to slow down and do a more thorough job," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "We are tired of DC lawmakers voting on bills they have not read or pushing a vote on Sonia Sotomayor before talking with their constituents."

ALIPAC supporters are asking members of the US Senate to return home and speak with their constituents before proceeding to a vote on Sonia Sotomayor. A delay would be prudent since many Americans have grave concerns about Sotomayor's racist comments, court decisions, and membership in racist groups like the National Council of La Raza (NCLR).

"These big wigs in the Senate need to understand how irate the American public is becoming due to their rash and hasty actions in Washington," said William Gheen. "Sonia Sotomayor is a very poor pick for the US Supreme Court, and senators should allow their constituents to speak with them face-to-face back home before voting. The last thing America needs now is more shortcuts and degradation of the process in Washington."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC lobbied for a delay in the vote on Sonia Sotomayor in committee and was granted a one-week extension. The national organization now hopes this similar appeal for the vote to be held after the break will succeed as well.

    Great Letter "W."

There is so much crap being thrown at us it's hard to keep up.
Obama wanted to over-whelm the system to take America down.
Well he has and his mentors will be proud of the little Marxist.
I hope he's miserable like he has made Americans!

Can't wait till he has his own kool-aid drinking militia!
Who was that other guy that did that? Hummmmmmmmm

Bush was an Angel compared to these evil things being done to us now.

He thinks we are all stupid! ACORN and the illegals should be proud of their votes.

He doesn't think we know about his activities with Professor Gates and his push for Reparations.....
If Palestine puts down their guns, there will be peace.
If Israel puts down their guns there will be no more Israel.

    Called Senators

I called Sen. Grassley and Sen. Harkin and asked them to delay the vote until after the recess.
