Friends of ALIPAC,
Obama's Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is before a Senate Judiciary Committee today asking for approval to proceed to the full Senate for a vote.
Concerned citizens across America are calling the US Senate to express their opposition to Sonia Sotomayor, but La Raza and other pro-invasion groups are in high gear supporting her.
We want each of you to join ALIPACers across America today and through the week to call members of the committee she faces to demand they reject the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor for many reasons.
Reasons to reject Sonia Sotomayor
1. Has made several statements indicating that she feels judges should apply laws based on their personal opinions, instead of the law or the Constitution.
2. Has made racist or bigoted comments that are offensive to tens of millions of Americans of every race who feel such comments are unbefitting of a judge.
3. She is a member of the radical racist group called the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), which translates as the National Council of the Race. Sotomayor's membership and support for La Raza indicates that she is in favor of both amnesty for illegal aliens and taxpayer benefits for illegals!
Obama has made a major political mistake nominating a Hispanic Supremacist as his Supreme Court nominee.
Our goals are to either 1. Stop the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the US Supreme court or... 2. Cost Obama every single supporter we can for this outrage.
PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVISM STEPS.
1. Call each US Senator's office on the committee list provided below to say, "Please tell Senator ________ that I want him/her to oppose and reject the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. Sotomayor should be rejected for making bigoted comments, making bigoted rulings as a judge, and being a member of a racist group like La Raza. The US Supreme Court is no place for a subjective RACIST like Sonia Sotomayor."
2. Follow up each call with an email and or Fax. We want the phone lines ringing off the hook and the faxes and e-mails pouring in!
3. Turn on your radios and computers! Use your local radio stations, internet broadcast stations, and phones to get on the air! We don't care if the talk show broadcast you are listening to is discussing Sonia Sotomayor or not. Get on the air any way you can and deliver your message to the listeners. If a talk radio show is not on this topic, they should be! Alert the nation, express your outrage.
4. If you hear any talk radio show commentator or show host say something positive about Sonia Sotomayor or something like Glenn Beck said last night, "She is a shoo-in for the nomination." then light up that person's phone lines, and or e-mail box immediately to say,
"I expect you to fight back against Obama and his racist pro-illegal alien allies like Sonia Sotomayor. We can defeat these people, yes we can and you need to get with the Americans who are fighting back to win!"
Many other groups on our side of the immigration issues as well as gun rights groups are mobilizing.
Let's get everyone focused on this important activism this week.
ALIPAC is sending out a national press release and going on talk radio shows to rally people to our efforts!
Here are the US Senators on the Judiciary Committee. Call them all!

HERE IS A 2ND AMENDMENT ARGUMENT:
As an American who has been dedicated to protecting the Second Amendment right of U.S. citizens to keep and bear arms, I urge you not to confirm Judge Sonia Sotomayor as the next associate justice of the United States Supreme Court.
It is extremely important that a Supreme Court justice understand and appreciate the origin and meaning of the Second Amendment, a constitutional guarantee permanently enshrined in the Bill of Rights. Judge Sotomayor's record on the Second Amendment causes me grave concern over her treatment of this enumerated constitutional right.
Last year, the Supreme Court decided the landmark case District of Columbia v. Heller, holding that the Second Amendment guarantees to all law-abiding, responsible citizens the individual right to keep and bear arms, particularly for self-defense. Following Heller, the Supreme Court is almost certain to decide next year whether the Second Amendment applies to states and local governments, as it does to the federal government (see NRA v. Chicago and McDonald v. Chicago.)
While on the Second Circuit, Judge Sotomayor revealed her views on the right to keep and bear arms in Maloney v. Cuomo, a case decided after Heller, yet holding that the Second Amendment is not a fundamental right, that it does not apply to the states, and that if an object is "designed primarily as a weapon" that is a sufficient basis for total prohibition even within the home. Earlier in a 2004 case, United States v. Sanchez-Villar, Sotomayor and two colleagues perfunctorily dismissed a Second Amendment claim holding that "the right to possess a gun is clearly not a fundamental right." Imagine if such a view were expressed about other fundamental rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, such as the First, Fourth and Fifth Amendments.
Surprisingly, Heller was a 5-4 decision, with some justices arguing that the Second Amendment does not apply to private citizens or that if it does, even a total gun ban could be upheld if a "legitimate governmental interest" could be found. The dissenting justices also found D.C.'s absolute ban on handguns within the home to be a "reasonable" restriction. If this had been the majority view, then any gun ban could be upheld, and the Second Amendment would be meaningless.
The Second Amendment survives today by a single vote in the Supreme Court. Both its application to the states and whether there will be a meaningfully strict standard of review remain to be decided by the High Court. Judge Sotomayor has already revealed her views on these issues and I believe they are contrary to the intent and purposes of the Second Amendment and Bill of Rights. As a Second Amendment devotee deeply concerned about preserving all fundamental rights for current and future generations of Americans, I urge you to strongly oppose this nominee, and urge the Senate not to confirm Judge Sotomayor.

It will only take seven Republican votes on the Senate Judiciary Committee to torpedo this nomination. I have heard the possible turncoats are:
1. Lindsey Graham tel: DC: 202-224-5972 SC:864-250-1417
2. Orrin Hatch DC: 202-224-5251 UT: 801-524-4380
Washington DC Switchboard: 202-224-3121
Maybe there's some others........"Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

I just called Lindsey Grahms office and they said that even if all Republicans vote against her that because the Dem's have the majority they will be able to pass her thru.
I asked many times and many ways to make sure I understood and I repeated that I had heard that if 7 Republicans vote against her then she can't be confirmed and the person in Sen. Grahms office said NO that is wrong.
She said that even if ALL Republicans vote against her she can still be confirmed because the Dems have the majority.
BUT please continue to call Sen Grahms office.

Graham is owned by La Raza
Senate Judiciary Committee Rule IV. BRINGING A MATTER TO A VOTE states,
"The Chairman shall entertain a non-debatable motion to bring a matter before the Committee to a vote. If there is objection to bring the matter to a vote without further debate, a roll call vote of the Committee shall be taken, and debate shall be terminated if the motion to bring the matter to a vote without further debate passes with ten votes in the affirmative, one of which must be cast by the minority."
I understand they can block it this way.

This is very interesting info. please keep working to make sure that we are 100% confident that the Republicans could actually stop her nomination in committee.
I'm going to hold off on today's press release till weds morning to give each of you some time to fully research and verify this claim.
We have to be certain before we attempt to insert such info into the national debate.
