State Rampage all ALIPAC Supporters please deploy!
Friends of ALIPAC,
The states are on fire and we need each of you to take immediate action on Thursday and Friday. Our activists will be spread thin so we need maximum efforts from you in the fourteen states of: GA, UT, CA, FL, OH, AZ, AK, KS, TX, OR, IN, SC, NJ, and VA!
If you live in one of the states on the list, start your calls and e-mails or better yet, go to your state assembly to talk with your representatives or any lawmakers you can engage in person. At this time, we need people to start going for personal visits, if at all possible, to enhance the effect of our calls and e-mails.
Follow the links below each state to review tips, articles, and to locate phone and e-mail contact information for each state project.
If you live in the state, make it clear you are a citizen of the state when you make contact.
If you or your family have been victimized by an illegal alien or illegal immigration, tell of your story and how these laws could protect Americans like you in the future.
To our supporters that are business owners, we need you to make it clear you own or operate a business and you support these laws. In many states, our main opposition is the state Chamber of Commerce. In SC and UT the state chambers are pushing back our efforts and watering bills down, to provide immunity for businesses that hire illegals. Our ALIPACers that own businesses are in a position to counter the chambers by saying, "I own a business and I want this law."
If you do not live in these states, pick a state or states nearest you and focus your efforts there. If you have friends or family in the listed states, contact them and ask them to take action with us.
ALIPAC's executive officers and top activists will be working all of these states. We need you to make a minimum of ten calls, followed by e-mails to reinforce the effort. If you can spare the time, please make your goal to attempt to reach all lawmakers in the state.
Please monitor these links as information and updates will be added over time.
If you need help or assistance, you can post your inquiries at these links or contact Volunteers@alipac.us for more assistance.

GEORGIA
If your working on Georgia, below is a letter you can use to send to Senators and House Reps:
Dear ------------
Two years ago, the Georgia Security and Compliance Act was passed that cracked down on illegal immigrants through employment verification. That was certainly a good first start in dealing with the negative impacts of illegal immigration in Georgia. Since then, it is also apparent that more needs done. There are a number of bills in either the Senate or House that need your support. These include:
The No birthright citizenship bill
Seizing vehicles of illegal immigrants who violate traffic laws
The No sanctuary bill that cuts money to public employers and welfare agencies that do not run a new worker or recipients through E-verify to make sure they are here legally. It also would cut money to local governments that provide "sanctuary" to illegal immigrants or who don't cooperate with federal officials enforcing immigration laws.
Punishment for illegal immigrants applying for license plates bill
Tax Fee of 2% on wire transfers bill
Prevention of using out-of-state driver's licenses by Georgia residents bill
The English Only bill that prohibits state agencies from requiring an employee to speak or take training in another language to land a job or get a promotion. Employers cannot favor those with language skills over those who speak only English.
It is commendable that House Resolution 413 was passed to make English the official language in Georgia. Now it is up to Georgia voters in November to have the final say and I am confident they will do so.
It is also heartening that Cobb, Hall, Whitfield and Oconee Counties are either already implementing 287(g) or soon will be. Gwinnett County is also considering in enrolling. It is extremely important that ALL law enforcement at ALL levels cooperate together to remove illegal alien criminals from our communities.
Please support all legislation that discourages illegal immigration and removes illegal aliens from our communities. It is important to protect the interests of the American citizen and LEGAL residents of Georgia and America.
Please consider joining "State Legislatures for Legal Immigration"

I worked on Assemblyman Chuck DeVore's (CA) bill AB 1758. I received this reply from the Assemblyman in the district next to mine:
Thanks XXXXXXX,
I am in support and a co-author of Chuck’s bill. It’s only fair and makes sense. We still have much to do on the immigration side to make that right as well, but we can at least start with 1758.
Thanks you for writing,
Doug LaMalfa

I've been speaking with Assemblyman LaMalfa and got this second reply
XXXXXXX
I do oppose the illegal immigration problem here. It’s difficult as the majority around here likes it the way it is. We cannot seem to move any reform legislation that helps stop illegal immigration, even a simple thing like requiring ID when voting. The Congress is paralyzed as well. I don’t think we can be effective with any work program or whatever reform name you may use until we have control of our borders. That has to be first. Workers with real documentation can then enter at our direction and everyone is better served, including the workers who are not then victims, nor on our public assistance. Be vocal in your support of new reform and make sure candidates for office know your opinion too. When enough citizens make their legislators uncomfortable enough [with calls, letters or at election time] withthe status quo, they’ll change it. It is frustrating that common sense doesn’t prevail sooner but that’s where we are in California right now. We’ll keep speaking up on it and trying legislation just to keep em honest. Maybe the majority will feel enough heat to change it.
