I have heard back from a few more.

The Rep. Jimmie C. Hall I heard from earlier represents Dist. 28. There is another Jim Hall who represents Dist. 43 who is also in agreement.

Also heard from Bill Rehm, who is a co-sponsor, Conrad James, Tom Anderson, and Don Tripp. All are in agreement with our position, and all are Republicans.

I am still making calls, so far most people who answer the phone are very receptive to comments or very frustrated. I have had a few that seem to be angry at having to take opposing phone calls.

IB... you keep meticulous records of who you talk with! I'll start keeping better track of my responses.

    NM licenses for ILLEGALs

I just thanked the governor & sent an email to all but 5 of the reps (they did not show email addresses). I did them 1 at a time, then I came here & found the BCC lists. Oh, well, that wouldn't have worked for me any way, since I personalize every one with the rep's last name.

Using the whole list of emails at one time, in defiance of ALIPAC's recommended course of action, is very likely to result in your email NEVER BEING SEEN.

Such emails are usually blocked or auto directed into a spam folder.

Please use the methods we have asked you to use with calls, followed by personalized individual written communications.

If enough of you follow our course of action, our chances of success are high.

If not enough of you follow our course of action our chances of success are very low.

AmericanEagle: These e-mail addresses come directly from the New Mexico Legislators website (link included in ALIPAC's initial communication above). I figured I would create a string of these e-mail addresses while I was at sending my e-mails. This process was not time consuming and I received several replies from these Representatives.

Since the tax benefits for illegal aliens effect all budgets I think it is right to call and write all. I was able to get through to 7 legislators.

I made part of my calls yesterday afternoon and will continue this morning. I sent emails last night after finishing work, unfortunately this was after normal business hours. I will report in any replies I receive today.

As always, I work odd hours having to work around the horses and Trainers schedules. But I will continue in the breaks I get between appointments.
