Tell NC Republicans To Stop Trying to Override Governor's Veto of H. 786

    Friends of ALIPAC,

When the Democratic leadership of North Carolina was historically thrown down from power a few years ago, after dominating state politics for more than 130 years since the Reconstruction era, many of us hoped that our citizens would finally get some champions in office who would defend our beleaguered citizens from the ravages of illegal immigration.

Boy, were we surprised and highly disappointed, when we found ourselves having to fight the new Republican leaders like Senator Phil Berger and Speaker Thom Tillis as they made their focus passing HB 786, which would give more jobs and driver licenses to illegal aliens!

Thanks to a lot of hard work by a lot of great people, the Republicans did remove the license provision from HB 786 but then passed it with the part that guts the E-Verify system, opening up jobs for illegal aliens and providing unscrupulous employers in the farming, restaurant, and tourism sectors more illegal alien workers!

Thankfully, our new Republican Governor Pat McCrory did veto HB 786!

But the fight is not over as sources within the NC General Assembly tell us that Thom Tillis and Phil Berger are trying to marshal enough votes to override McCrory's veto!

If these corrupt politicians fought for NC and American citizens half as hard as they are fighting for illegal aliens and their employers, things just might improve in our land!

Please take the time to contact members of the NC General Assembly by phone, email, and letter and tell them...

"Stop trying to help illegal aliens and their employers, and stop trying to override Governor McCrory's veto of the illegal alien jobs and licenses bill HB 786!"

Here you can find all of the contact info you need for both chambers at...

Click on either "House" or "Senate" to find legislators' information.

We need dedicated volunteers to put in the legwork of calling and writing these offices to let them know we are watching, taking notes, and will be in their faces in the next elections over this.

    Sincerely,

William Gheen and The ALIPAC Team

I saw where the House overrode this. Senate will be voting on this tomorrow.
