Trump Betrays Base By Supporting DACA Dream Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

While the news reports are filled with voices on the left that are upset with President Trump's DACA decision, the truth is Trump did not really end DACA, and there is a large host of Trump supporters who feel dismayed and betrayed by his unexpected efforts to make DACA Dream Act Amnesty permanent in America through legislation backed by Obama, Jeb and GW Bush, Pelosi, Reid, George Soros, and other globalists.

ALIPAC opposes Trump's DACA/Dream Act Amnesty for illegal aliens and believes such Amnesty would lead to full Comprehensive Amnesty for most illegal aliens which would eventually give Democrats full and permanent control of US elections and all three branches of government. This, in turn, would lead to unstoppable open borders and unending waves of costly and deadly illegal immigration. In short, DACA/Dream Act Amnesty would set in motion political dominoes that would eventually cost many Americans their jobs, homes, communities, and lives and destroy the United States of America.

Most Trump supporters opposed Obama's attempts to pass Amnesty for illegal aliens and wanted DACA ended, not made permanent by the legislation in Congress Trump is calling for and supporting! Trump has even tweeted he may continue DACA beyond six months if Congress does not make the DACA Dream Act Amnesty permanent through legislation.

Donald Trump became President because he misled conservative voters into believing he was different than Bush and Obama on immigration issues, but now Trump is supporting the very same Amnesty legislation and policies as his corrupt predecessors!

Trump originally promised American voters on August 31, 2016, he would end DACA on his first day in office and that there would be No New Amnesty discussions for many years. Trump has now broken these promises by continuing DACA for another six months and announcing he will possibly renew the overtly unconstitutional and illegal program if Congress fails to pass a form of Amnesty for illegal aliens within the next six months! Trump is also allowing the importation of dangerous Muslim refugees from Australia in what he called a "dumb" secret arrangement by Obama.

This means Trump has broken at least three of his core promises on immigration issues and while the repeal of Obamacare failed, no tax cuts have passed, and there is no construction on a border law, Americans are now once again thrust into a battle to stop Congress from passing a nation destroying Amnesty bill for illegal aliens! So much for Trump's slogan "America First!"

Many Trump supporters are remorseful because the stadiums full of Americans who cheered Trump during the campaign did not expect him to break his campaign promises and then come out in support for DACA, Dream Act, and Comprehensive immigration reform Amnesty for illegals!

Numerous Trump backers would have never supported him or voted for him if he had ever expressed any support for legislative DACA, Dream Act, or Comprehensive Amnesty for illegals during his campaign where he ridiculed Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Hillary Clinton for doing the same!

"The media and Democrats can't take Trump's base away, but he can by continuing his support for Amnesty for illegal aliens which makes him a liar and a hypocrite that has betrayed his base," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We are people that donated, volunteered for, and voted for Donald Trump because we support the existing border and immigration laws of America. Trump's recent statements in support of Amnesty for illegal aliens is sending shock waves through his base. We are now confronted with the task of accurately informing Trump supporters about Trump's conversion to the Amnesty side of the immigration debate while simultaneously organizing a defense to stop legislative Amnesty in Congress from setting in motion a chain of events that will lead to eventual socialist control and permanent open borders for America."

Trump indicated his support for working with Democrats that would only vote for an immigration bill containing Amnesty for illegals when he tweeted during the evening after promising to end DACA in six months "I look forward to working w/ D's + R's in Congress to address immigration reform in a way that puts hardworking citizens of our country 1st."

Many ALIPAC supporters expressed their dismay at this statement in emailed responses that can be viewed here. (View) Many reactions can be summed up by comments like "D + R in Congress +immigration reform = Amnesty for illegal aliens & hard working citizens are put last!!" and "His actions do not match his words. He is not fulfilling his campaign promises." and "It sounds like Trump is planning to sell us out with "immigration reform," i.e., amnesty."

Trump then signaled more support for "comprehensive" Amnesty legislation which he first shocked supporters with on July 13 of this year. That position contradicted most of Trump's campaign promises to enforce existing immigration laws and was reinforced by his tweet on September 5, 2017 "Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do). If they can't, I will revisit this issue!"

Trump supporter and Youtube Vblogger, The Amazing Lucas, expressed the flabbergasted reaction of many Trump supporters saying "This seems (to be cowardice) to me.... You're going to build a wall but you're going to have incentives for them to cross the wall!?!? That makes no sense at all!" (View Video)

ALIPAC and ALIPAC endorsed lawmakers in Congress played a key role in stopping the Gang of Eight Amnesty bill that passed in 2013. Senator Dick Durbin cited ALIPAC's messages and strategy as being the key component that defeated his Dream Act Amnesty legislation in December of 2010 which precipitated Obama's launch of DACA Amnesty! The organization also played a key role in stopping Comprehensive Amnesty bills backed by Bush in 2006-2007.

The American public and Congress have rejected Amnesty legislation, now supported by President Donald J Trump, again and again since the disasterous 1986 Amnesty under Reagan that created today's illegal immigration crisis.

George Bush left office as the most unpopular President in modern American history after destroying support within his own Republican base by supporting Amnesty for illegal aliens and prosecuting border patrol agents like Ramos and Compean.
