Will Mark Zuckerberg & Facebook Lift Censorship of National Organization?

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC.us) applauds Mark Zuckerberg's new pledge to reduce Facebook's censorship of immigration topics on his platform (View), end biased "fact checkers" and move to a community notes system like Twitter, and asks if the decade-long shadowbanning, sandbagging, and censorship of ALIPAC's main page "William Gheen President of Americans for Legal Immigration (View)" will be curtailed in 2025?

ALIPAC is a peaceful, multi-racial, online political activism organization founded on 9/11, 2004, that has disavowed racism and racist groups at every turn to give a national voice to legal immigrants and Americans of all walks of life who oppose illegal immigration. The group's website at ALIPAC.us is the world's largest archive of information about illegal immigration in America and is archived by the US Library of Congress.

When ALIPAC first joined Facebook 14 years ago, the national group's page quickly grew to more than 14,000 followers, but then shadowbanning censorship tools were applied by Facebook (most likely at the behest of leftwing Soros funded groups like the ADL, SPLC, and Media Matters), which limited the group's visibility, reach, and growth. The page now grows at less than 1,000 new followers per year despite tens of thousands of dollars of ad buys on the platform and immigration positions favored by a large majority of Americans of all races.

At times, the censorship applied to ALIPAC on Facebook has made national headlines; here is one example.... "Facebook admits error in deleting William Gheen immigration comments after Mollie Tibbetts death 'Sometimes we get things wrong (Read)'" Washington Times, August 23, 2018.

In 2018, the historic ALIPAC Report to Congress & Media on Social Media Company Censorship (Read)) detailing big tech censorship of illegal immigration and Amnesty opponents by Twitter, Facebook, and Google was entered into the Congressional Record and National Archives.

Up until 2020, ALIPAC was keeping a long List of Conservatives Censored by Silicon Valley companies Facebook, Google, Twitter (View) until the numbers of Americans being suppressed became too large to track!

ALIPAC is announcing for the first time that in recent months, Facebook has censored the group's page called Prosecute Obama (View Link), which had 344,000 followers before being SUSPENDED BY FACEBOOK with a false claim the page was impersonating Obama. The Prosecute Obama page makes it clear that it is ALIPAC's page, not Obama's, and while Prosecute Trump pages flourish on Facebook, Prosecute Obama is now prohibited and took away the civil right of free expression of ALIPAC, ALIPAC's supporters, and 344,000 people on the Facebook platform! ALIPAC's numerous attempts to get Facebook to lift the suspension have gone unanswered.





"We are glad to hear Mark Zuckerberg's new promise that Americans and legal immigrants of all races who peacefully oppose illegal immigration like ALIPAC will be able to have our freedom of speech and civil rights more protected on Facebook as we were early pioneers in big tech censorship and abuse," said William Gheen, founder of ALIPAC. "We hope Facebook will restore our wrongfully suspended Prosecute Obama page with 344,000 supporters and remove the legacy censorship tools currently reducing the visibility, reach, and growth of our national organization's main page with 26,000 supporters. We deserve to be treated equally on the Facebook platform and no longer be targeted and penalized for our support for secure borders and immigration law enforcement."

ALIPAC is glad to see more public figures embracing free speech and what the American public has been expressing about illegal immigration and unsecured borders through groups like ALIPAC for decades.

Perhaps with increased freedom of speech on Twitter and Facebook, and maybe eventually even Google, American citizens can restore the republic by restoring our borders and existing immigration laws designed to protect American taxpayer resources, jobs, elections, and lives!
