      Special national minimum wage V: applies to a trainee who is not an apprentice Minimum wage varies with years of schooling. Currently it varies from A$287.90 – A$585.80 per week. The minimum wage for a trainee is set in schedule E of the Miscellaneous Award 2010.

    Remove all illegals, end chain migration (family reunification), reduce legal immigration, including refugees, and this conversation doesn't happen. Reduce the low wage employee pool and wages will rise naturally.

    I agree, get rid of the illegals - and their off springs.

    Put a moratorium on any immigration - with some very few exceptions.

    Stop the H1B program and those programs.

    If, and I say if, we need temporary agricultural workers - make them just that - temporary. Make the employers foot the bill and be responsible.

    I'm trying to understand what minimum wage has to do with recession. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
