[TA] They’re coming back……and looking to pass amnesty

    Dear Friend,

Congress is reconvening after Labor Day for a 28-day session. That’s
    28
days we are going to have to hold them off.

Many of us, including our Founding Chairman, Congressman Tom Tancredo,
    are
worried that the Bush Administration and its big business allies will
    make
one last push for Congress to accept some version of the Senate’s
“comprehensive” (AMNESTY!) immigration bill during this short session.

This will be the final session of this Congress.

Whatever the results of the November 7th midterm elections, it is clear
that President Bush’s political “muscle” in the next Congress is going
    to
    be weakened.

So the White House, the Chamber and the Hispanic lobby are going to
    make a
desperate, last minute push for the so-called “Pence compromise”
bill……that’s the compromise that invites an unlimited number of foreign
workers to come into this country and take our jobs.

Friend, this has been a historic year for the immigration reform
    movement.
Thanks to Tom Tancredo’s heroic leadership, and your commitment, we
    moved
border security and respect for our immigration laws to the front of
    the
    national agenda.

And we have done so against one of the most powerful and well-funded
coalitions of special interests and powerful politicians imaginable!
    We
cannot afford to let them prevail in these final minutes of the
    congressional clock!

Please gear yourselves up to again flood the House of Representatives,
especially its Republican leadership, with messages of grassroots
opposition to accepting anything less than the “enforcement only” bill
that the House, led by Tom Tancredo and Jim Sensenbrenner, passed last
    December!

Also your contribution now would be a tremendous help to us to counter
whatever last-minute moves the pro-amnesty forces decide to make.

Your contribution will also make it possible for Team America to make
    some
last-minute investments in the races of solid, pro-immigration reform
candidates in the final weeks leading up to November 7th.

We have already raised nearly $15,000 for our good friend Randy Graf,
    the
Republican nominee in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District (who, if we
    are
successful, will succeed the powerful “open borders” GOP Congressman
    Jim
    Kolbe).

Funds that we don’t have to spend to beat back a last-minute push for
    the
Pence amnesty bill could be available to help us help other deserving
    “enforcement only” candidates.

I want to again thank you for all you have done to help me, Tom
    Tancredo,
and Team America win such amazing victories this year. These victories
are a testimony to our hard work, and to the good sense of the American
    people.

I deeply hope you will be able to help us again now, with a generous
contribution to the cause of immigration reform!

    Sincerely,
    Bay Buchanan
    Chairman

P.S. To give you an accurate picture of our Republican Party today let
    me
tell you what just happened out there in Arizona. The primary is in 10
days and Randy Graf, our candidate, is running against an open border
Kolbe clone, Steve Huffman. Last week Randy pulls ahead in the polls.
    So
the RNCC buys $150,000 worth of media ads in support of Huffman, who
    they
claim in the ads is the “real conservative”! The Republican
    Establishment
will not tolerate a candidate who will vote to secure the border and
enforce our laws. Forget what Americans want --corporate interests are
the driving force behind the GOP. Any further help you can give Randy
    would be welcomed.

I was under the impression the Hispanic lobby didn't support the Pence/Hutchinson bill. Can someone clear this up for me. Thanks.
