Is this what our nation has come to? War against unarmed working mothers? Have we no shame?

Dozens of petite young mothers gathered this week in the parking lot outside the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Mississippi. Each wore a long dress or pants to hide their electronic ankle bracelets. Lift up a pants leg and you can see the black plastic band and monitor which is the size of a pack of cigarettes. Most wore sandals. Several were obviously pregnant.

From the outside the building looked like any office park. But a blue Homeland Security flag waved right next to the red white and blue out in front. Inside, the mothers were being interviewed and readied for deportation.

The crime these mothers are charged with? Not guns, not drugs, not spying. Working to put food on the table for their families and not being citizens of the U.S.

[b]Heavily armed federal agents stormed the Laurel Mississippi parts plant where they worked in late August. Helicopters swarmed in an operation ABC News described as “paramilitary.â€

the Catholic Church is a leftist group, and these mothers are armed with Fake documents.

Will we ever know how many of these UNWED mothers were milking the system, using their anchors to receive food stamps and other benefits? Will we ever hear how many were audited by the IRS for failure to pay FEDERAL INCOME TAX?
How many of these innocent workers were committing FRAUD by using false ID's for work? Did any of these working people file for income tax refunds using a FALSE social security number? Did any claim exemptions on tax forms to which they are not legally entitled? Have any of them used false ID for loans?

UNTIL we have a solid investigation into the various illegal acts of illegal workers, I have no sympathy.

SEND THEM AND THIER ANCHORS BACK !!!!!!

Does the U.S. feel so vulnerable that we really need to declare war on unarmed working mothers and conduct paramilitary raids on bakeries, candle shops, and meatpacking plants in order to feel safe? Shame on us.

No, no shame on us!

Yes, you bleeding heart liberal, obviously we DO feel that vulnerable. These "working moms" are taking jobs away from Americans in the midst of a financial crises! These types of jobs can be filled up by older people who can't retire now because of the mess we are in, OUR single moms, College students, etc....

It's a long time gone that we should have started deprting these IA's YEARS AGO! Keep up the good work ICE!

Shame on you. These people are here illegally, they are taking jobs from American Taxpaying Citizens. America spent 328 billion dollars last year on illegals. More than 7000 Americans have been murdered by illegals since 9/11 there have been more than 150,000 cases of rape and child molestation by illegals in since 9/11. Why dont you write that story you traitor to America. Why dont you go to Mexico and see what kind of welcome you get there. Shame on you and the paper that lets you write for it.

I'm tired of hearing how long they have been here as being some kind of badge of honor.


The longer they have been here, the more damage they have done.

Is there any other crimes - or series of crimes - that we point to a long term history of the criminal behavior as some how a good thing?

Thank you for keeping US informed.

We don't round up working mothers. Obviously there was alot more illegal than working, period. Love how they like to make it so innocent.....like out of the blue for no reason they load up working mothers. Please. ID fraud is no biggie I guess, on top of being here illegally and who knows what else if people dig deep enough......
