Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, whose agency is charged with securing America’s borders, told an audience in Washington, D.C., in reference to the U.S.-Mexico border, “You’re never going to totally seal that border.â€

If the down side wasn't so grave, watching the "dances of the politicians" would actually be funny how they can talk from both sides of their mouths AND believe both of the things they say are the truth.

Talk about split personalities!

It's the ol' "build a 20 foot fence and they'll bring a 21 foot ladder" excuse.

Remember Elvira Arellano? She was the illegal that took sanctuary in a
church for a year and ended up getting deported. After she was deported
there was a threat of a law suit aginst the US because we made it too easy
for her to cross the border.

Arellano stated that, "the United States is the one who broke the law first. By letting people cross over [the border] without documents. By letting people pay taxes. . . ."

No fence is 100% fool proof but it sends a clear message to Mexico and
illegals trying to cross the border that says "Don't cross here". Couple that
with a Border Patrol with some teeth and a few electronic gizmos and I

I heard somebody the other day say, "When you have a hole in the roof
and the rain is pouring in, you don't mop the floor first...First, you fix the
hole in the roof ." Duh!
