I think that by supporting Lopez Obrador and protesting the fraud the Mexican people are fighting to make Mexico a better place, fighting against corruption and for better living conditions. I think you need to look a little deeper into the issue.

Just because they have 200,000 in the streets to fight for the election of Obrador doesn't mean that change will come. Short of violent revolution how can Mexicans in Mexico really change the corrupt ruling system, which as we all know is fully backed by big brother to the north?

NextMove,
Welcome to ALIPAC. I think the important thing is here that if any of their claims that Globalist Big Brother from the north helped rig a Mexican election, then we could be looking at our own fate if true.
Many of us have been astounded as we have watched elected officials act in a way as if they did not even care about the next election.
And really, could any Mexican President be worse on the illegal immigration issue than Fox?

Calderon might be worse. We should have supported Obrador. It's a shame the media in this country only portrayed him as a crazy "leftist".

Can you show me an example of what you mean? How are Mexicans in this country "pretending" they can't fight for their beliefs? They are trying to get away from poverty and a corrupt government. How can that be disputed?
How about the excuses provided by an alleged illegal right here on these boards? Or how about those who support illegals who come to these boards and try to convince us of the same thing?
I can dispute it because Mexicans can vote, and they can protest. If they want a change (which it seems they do) then tell me how they can't. They can vote the corrupt out, they can protest.
They fought when they decided to kick Spain out and declare their independence.
So prove to me they really are uncapable of fighting by voting and/or protesting.

Well, you said they were "pretending" they can't fight. Then you gave examples of how they do fight.

Yes. You asked for proof of why I think they are pretending to be unable to fight in Mexico. I gave you that by proving they in fact can, despite the claim that they cannot.
Now, please prove to me that I'm wrong.
(edit) What I'm looking for is solid reasons why the illegals here cannot go back to Mexico and help their fellow Mexicans fight.

Maybe those that come here have become completely hopeless with the situation in Mexico. But if Obrador had been elected and conditions improved I would bet people would move back.
