BREAKING NEWS!!!.......20 States Have Thousands Of Petitions To Peacefully Secede From The United States.....
Posted by Michael CHILDS, Admin II on November 13, 2012 at 2:17am in Patriot Action Alerts

Yahoo News,
People who fail to learn from their history are doomed to repeat it.........
The nation has never been more divided during my lifetime. We are racially divided, divided by wealth, ideologically divided, divided by sexual preference, divided by religion, city dwellers against the rural population, etc...
But In the post anger of last week's presidential election, thousands of Americans have signed petitions wanting permission for their states to peacefully secede from the United States. The petitions were filed on We the People, a government website.
States with citizens filing include Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Oddly, folks from Georgia have filed twice. Even stranger, several of the petitions come from states that went for President Barack Obama.
The petitions are short and to the point. For example, a petition from the Volunteer State reads: "Peacefully grant the State of Tennessee to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government." Of all the petitions, Texas has the most signatures so far, with more than 23,000.
Of course, this is mostly a symbolic gesture. The odds of the American government granting any state permission to go its own way are on par with winning the lottery while getting hit by a meteor while seeing Bigfoot while finding gluten-free pizza that tastes like the real thing.
An article from WKRC quotes a University of Louisville political science professor who explained that these petitions aren't uncommon. Similar petitions were filed following the 2004 and 2008 elections. Still, should the petitions garner 25,000 signatures in a month, they will require an official response from the Obama administration.
From the We the People site:
The right to petition your government is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. We the People provides a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country. We created We the People because we want to hear from you. If a petition gets enough support, White House staff will review it, ensure it's sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response. Not everybody who wants to secede is polite enough to write a petition. Peter Morrison, treasurer of the Hardin County (Texas) Republican Party, wrote a post-election newsletter in which he urges the Lone Star State to leave the Union.
"We must contest every single inch of ground and delay the baby-murdering, tax-raising socialists at every opportunity. But in due time, the maggots will have eaten every morsel of flesh off of the rotting corpse of the Republic, and therein lies our opportunity...
Why should Vermont and Texas live under the same government?
Let each go her own way in peace, sign a free trade agreement among the states and we can avoid this gut-wrenching spectacle every four years."
The remaining states for Obama’s tyrannical, despotic, evil regime to rule over are California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and the District of Columbia - a total of 147 electoral votes this year.
California is broke already and filled with Mexican and other immigrants.
Connecticut is northern NY and home of the Jerry Springer and other wonderful, fitting shows.
Delaware = Biden.
Hawaii is mostly Asian.
Illinois without Chicago may secede also.
Maine = Maineiacs.
Massachusetts is a lost Commonwealth of Dem Lib in-breds.
Minnesota has been socialist for decades.
New Mexico might as well be Mexico.
Rhode Island is southern MA.
Vermont is another socialist state, so also is Washington. DC full of government loons.
So who cares, really, about any of them.
In the last 2 generations, instead of rearing gentlemen and ladies, we've produced Feminazis and #$%$.

The petition to let Texas secede from the U.S. to be reviewed by the White House
Monday, November 12, 2012
Well, Texas, you have done it.
As of 3:40 p.m. ET, more than 25,000 Texans have already signed the petition on The White House website to let Texas peacefully secede from United States of America and “create its own NEW government.”
The petition, created on Nov. 9, argues for secession, stating:

According to The White House, the petition must reach 25,000 signatures within 30 days in order to be considered.
“If a petition gets enough support, White House staff will review it, ensure it’s sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response,” explains the website.
If you would like to know about the process of creating petitions on ‘We the People: your voice in our government‘ section of the White House website, watch the video below:
Just last week, Rick Dunham explored differences between the U.S. and Texas that could lead to secession in his piece ‘Will Texas secede from Barack Obama’s America?’
And according to BuzzFeed’s Zeke Miller, Texas is not the only state whose residents are petitioning for secession, but is leading with the highest number of petitioners. On November 12, a follow-up petition was started by "Joshua L" of Birmingham, Alabama:
"Deport Everyone That Signed A Petition To Withdraw Their State From The United States Of America."
As of November 13, it also needs 25,000 signatures for White House consideration.

Texas has already exceeded the required number of signatories on the petition that requests secession.
Presumably, these same States will take the more meaningful step of refusing to set up “exchanges” for implementing Obamacare.
………………………………………………………………………….
Citizens in 22 states have filed petitions to secede from the United States after Tuesday’s election
Although this is largely seen as symbolic, the filers in each state still have a month to gather 25,000 signatures to have their peaceful withdrawal from the U.S.A. considered by the president.

Seriously did any one think he would go along with it..
Perry: Texas Will Not Secede From US
Posted on November 14, 2012

Texas Gov. Rick Perry has one message for the tens of thousands of Texans calling for secession from the United States: The state will not secede.
More than 76,000 people have signed a petition on the “We the People” White House website for Texas to withdraw from the Union and start a new government after President Barack Obama was re-elected.
“The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. … Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government,” the petition states.
Perry spokesperson Catherine Frazier tells CBS News that the governor “shares the frustrations many Americans have with our federal government,” but “believes in the greatness of our Union and nothing should be done to change it.”

----------------------------------------------
If every legal citizen in Texas, including every member of Texas government signed the petition, Perry would still refuse to secede.
But at that point, Texas would cease being a state of the Union, and would therefore be required to elect their own Texas President.
I don't think Perry would win that one either.Join our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & to secure US borders by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn
