ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ALL OUR FAULT

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ALL OUR FAULT.
    Posted By Rick

DID YOU KNOW THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION WOULD STOP IF THE USA JUST FUNNELED EVEN MORE MONEY INTO THE MEXICAN ECONOMY?

Dumbfounding is it. I mean, just how stupid officials in Mexico think we are.

This headline from the UT caught my eye, and my ire.

Mexican candidate says U.S. investment could help stem illegal immigration

Presidential candidate Felipe Calderon said Friday that the United States and Canada should help build a Mexican economy strong enough to keep people from migrating north in search of work.

“I think it’s very valid to propose that Canada, the United States and Mexico all invest in productive projects and infrastructure in areas that send the most migrants out of the country,” the ruling National Action Party candidate told The Associated Press aboard his campaign bus as it left a rally in this small farming community northwest of the capital.

“It’s very obvious that building one kilometer of highway here is better than 10 kilometers of wall along the border,” he said.

AND THIS GUY REALLY COULD BE ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF MEXICO !!

Independent public opinion polls show Calderon about even with his main opponent, leftist former Mexico City Mayor Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. The conservative candidate said his party believed he has a slight advantage after a final televised debate on Tuesday.

Calderon said that, if elected, he would aim to create as many jobs as possible, though he declined to say how many. He said the government alone could not generate the needed employment, adding that the most important factor was private investment.

Mexico, Canada and the United States are members of the North American Free Trade Agreement, which took effect in 1994.

AND OF COURSE WE WOULD LOVE TO SHOVEL MORE MONEY AND INVESTMENT INTO THAT SPIT HOLE…ESPECIALLY WHEN HE SAYS THINGS LIKE THIS:

Calderon also said he would work to restore diplomatic ties with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and work closely with communist Cuba, even though he doesn’t agree with the two countries’ philosophies.

Then why work with them? Do I detect a little Latin double speak?

    But I digress…

SO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION…IT TURNS OUT, IS ALL OUR FAULT.

THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT JUST NEEDED MORE AMERICAN DOLLARS.

GOSH…THIS REMINDS ME OF SOMETHING… WHAT IS IT???

    OH YEAH. W-E-L-F-A-R-E!

THE ENTIRE COUNTRY OF MEXICO HAS BECOME A WELFARE BRAT.

NONE OF THE PROBLEMS THEY’VE CREATED ARE THEIR OWN, AND THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN GET OUT OF THEIR PROBLEMS IS BY BLAMING US AND TAKING OUR CASH.

i honestly would give him my support. At least he says he is going to try and create jobs in mexico. That's better than Fox's "Please go to the USA and don't come home. We cannot support your here" philosophy.

Will his attempts be half-assed and mock us? of course we are still the USA right? as long as we are the World Hegemon other leaders will try and use us as a scapegoat if they don't get their way with us. The bright side is that he may be able to spur some changes in the way wealth is distrubuted in Mexico. Even a difference of 1% more efficent distribution via a welfare system will have positive results for the illegal immigration problem to the USA.

Illegals already cost the American tax payers over $50 billion a year.

So why not send all the illegals back home, and write their respective countries a check for that amount and be done with it

I know there's an article here somewhere but was unable to find it. So here's one I just got off the internet. Fox SAYS that he will create jobs, but doesn't want to stop the flow of $$$$$ from the USA that illegal alien's (that he call 'heroes') send home. Nowhere does this article discuss the billions sent to Mexico. By sending his poorest and least educated here, it keeps protest and Mexico's costs down.

    International:

California Chamber of Commerce Hosts Vicente Fox, President of Mexico

(May 30, 2006) The California Chamber of Commerce hosted His Excellency Vicente Fox, President of Mexico, at an international trade breakfast on Friday to discuss trade and expanding the economic relationship between California and Mexico.
The more than 100 guests who greeted President Fox included a delegation of officials from Mexico, representatives of California’s state government and business people from California and Mexico, including representatives of agriculture, the service industry and manufacturing.

“As you know, California and Mexico are neighbors,” said California Chamber President Allan Zaremberg. “We share a common border, history and are heavily dependent on each other for trade and economic growth. In 1999, Mexico replaced Japan as the number one destination for California exports. The California Chamber of Commerce is a longtime supporter of NAFTA based on the assessment that it serves the employment, trading and environmental interests of California, the United States, Canada and Mexico.”

President Fox discussed the successes of his administration since being elected in July 2000 in a historic race. He commented that Mexico has a balanced budget this year, its overall economy is improving and jobs are increasing.

“Now our economy has two motors - local consumption and our trading with the rest of the world,” said President Fox. “This year our economy started very strong, five and a half percent growth in the first quarter, 350,000 new jobs. This year very possibly we will end up creating one million new jobs throughout the year. It has been a long time since we have been able to generate a million new jobs.”

The biggest challenge Mexico faces, President Fox said, is the need to expedite the speed at which it educates its workers because there is a deficit of 100,000 jobs along the border between the United States and Mexico. "We have the demand for jobs. We just have to work harder to meet the requirements for those jobs."

Mexico continues to be California’s top export market. California exports to Mexico increased in 2005 to top $17 billion. Mexico purchases nearly 16 percent of all California exports. California exports to Mexico are driven by computer and electronic products, which account for 34 percent of all California exports to Mexico. Key exports to Mexico showing growth in 2005 include transportation equipment, processed foods, and chemicals. California exports to Mexico directly and indirectly support approximately 177,000 California jobs, with more than half of these jobs resulting from export growth under NAFTA.

    President Fox’s Career
President Fox’s varied career has included years of experience in both business and politics. He began working for Coca-Cola in 1964, starting as a delivery route supervisor and ending up as the president of the company for Mexico and Latin America, the youngest person in the company to occupy the position.

He entered politics in the 1980s and in 1995 was elected governor of his home state of Guanajuato. During his administration, the state became the fifth largest economy in Mexico. He has served as a board member of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and as a director of the Grupo Fox, whose companies are involved in agribusiness and manufacturing footwear and cowboy boots for export, providing many employment opportunities.

The international trade breakfast was co-sponsored by the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

I am not sending Mexico anything but the poor, uneducated and criminal people that Fox has encouraged to come here. I will give them a free bus ride back but that is it. Let Mexico take care of their own just as we and every other country in the world does. Where did we sign up to fund the population of Mexico? I do not remember signing anything like that.

ConcernedCitizen, you have the right answer for solving this big problem: deport all the illegals and bill their government for the cost of the operation.

This is what should be done. We do not need them.
