Yep. I am allowed to encourage the people you're addressingto vote on what they believe in, instead of some fictional account of what might happen.
This is an immigration forum. We should not vote for candidates who do not support our views on immigration.
If we change our mind, or our priorities, we should do so quietly."Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -- John Quincy Adams

Here's the deal on the electoral spread:
While Obama has only a slight lead in the popular vote iof 4-5%, he's up by at least 8% in enough states to get him to the 270 EV that wins.
Obama has 264 locked down in solid blue states. He is leading in at least 8 states with enough votes to get him to 270 or over. CO and VA seem most likely to put him over the top, but he's also leading in most recent polls in FL, NC, NV (actually only gets him to 269, but is almost certainly an Obama win), MO, and OH.
But ND is still a tossup state.
Real Clear Politics has Obama at 286 electoral votes, and 364 when "tossups" leaning his way are included.
So, even if McCain won somehow won half of the undecideds, it won't matter.
Unless something drastic happens, which it could, Obama is going to win and a vote for McCain is nothing more than a wasted opportunity to affect change in the future elections and in the GOP platform."Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -- John Quincy Adams

My biggest election worry at the moment is whomever oppose either Obama or McCain, whichever gets into office, will start their presidential campaigns as soon as the oath of office is taken. I don't think I can stand 4 years of campaigning, as I am pretty worn out from the last two, and the next two-plus weeks can't go by fast enough so we know what we are dealing with.

My Vote is for Ralph Nadar
And the reason I met J. McCain twice at Ford Island, Hawaii once in 1962 and once in 1963; and what he was doing to trying to be little his Father. Because of my Admiral who was one of two who were off the USS Arizona at Barabers Point Naval Airfield their lives were spared. I Got to raise the Flag the morning of MAY 30 1962; while I was still 17 I knew the way things where back then. So Ralph Nadar has my Vote again this year as he has for the last two. I put my time on two DD off the coast of Vietnam for 14 months and then did a Year in Counrty; got more time in the Hosptial than John Fiinnnnng Kerry and I do not have a Purple Heart. If I had not been so sick at my last duty Station the Naval Academy Iwould have like to have given the P.O.S. J.Finnng Kerry a peice of my mind in person. And because people do not tell the truth we are in the trouble that we are in now. I do not vote the lesser of two evils, I vote for who is best for the country. The only way you will change Washington, D.C. is to vote them all out and put those in Jail who belong there. Been fighting the VA for 37 years on my claim and would not go to his office for help when I moved to this state in 2004, and Jon Kyle's office here in Phoenix has thrown away all the records on my claim twice in 4 years. Also I am a Life member of the NRA since 1973 when I got my Medicial out of the Navy with 10 years service.

You're right Bowman. This is why we must work extremely hard to STOP the counting of illegal aliens in the census and exactly why the pro-illegals WANT them counted.
In fact, someone posted an article around here somewhere that I saw last night which discussed just this:
The pro-illegals are pushing to have the new director of Homeland Security be selected, in part, on a willingness, to suspend all ICE actions during the next census so that illegals will not be afraid of the census takers.
They openly ADMIT that their goal is to ensure legislative seats at all levels are occupied by hispanics, a necessity....again openly admitted....if they are to obtain the "change" THEY want.
However, it was pointed out by our own AZ Governor that suspending ICE actions is not necessary to ensure that illegals are counted.....there is some formula already in place by which a certain number of illegal aliens are added to the count. That makes me wonder just how padded those counts are.....if we cannot determine that real number, how can they estimate for the purpose of the census?
Clearly, illegal aliens ARE influencing our elections in a number of ways and we CANNOT permit this to happen.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

As I said on another post, we really need a lawsuit to get illegal aliens classified as foreign invaders, under existing law and previous supreme court rulings then they would not be counted in the census nor given birthright citizenship. I think there is enough basis to file a suit to classify them as foreign invaders. At the very least this type of suit would cause the press to report on all the negative impacts illegals are having on our country.

I agree 100%. There SHOULD be a lawsuit....a big one......and pretty darned soon with, as you say, illegals being classified as invaders but also, I believe, the classification of the cartels and these so called "gangs: like MS 13, etc. classified as enemy combatants and terrorist organizations.
Oh, and pro-illegal zealots....both organizations and individuals....should be formally classified as enemies of the state as well.
They have gone well beyond the point of just being considered as gangs and criminal, or civil rights, organizations.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
