No clue how many were actually there because the mall was off limits, but let’s just say it was one massive patriotic crew of riders for miles, and miles, and miles, and miles…… One police officer on I-95 Virginia stated well over 800,000 were counted yesterday headed North. Says Anastasia Jacoby who smiles here as she holds her sign high, she had a friend, Mark Garber who was willing to let her ride along and she has this to say about what 2 Million Bikers to DC meant to her:

"I rode in from Western PA with the 2 Million Bikers to D.C. to pay tribute to the victims of 9/11 an...d to honor my three children serving in the US Military. The mind and heart of many patriots that were standing in support of our event and unable to attend were carried with me.

As an American and military mom, I felt it was the least I could do to support our young men and women serving, past and present. Our soldiers are willing to sacrifice their lives for our great nation. We need to ask ourselves, "Do we stand watch here at home, to serve and protect America and all that she stands for?" So, that when our soldiers return, they can enjoy the freedoms they are willing to die for. No soldier's sacrifice should ever be in vain."

What a moving tribute to the reason she rode that day. Thank for sharing your photo, and that smile says it all to all of us. What pride shines in your face, we are so glad you could come. Bless your heart and thank your children for all of us on the team (1,000+) for their service to our beloved country.
