The longest war America has ever fought is the Dirty War, and it is not over. It has lasted 30 years so far and claimed more than 25 million victims. It has cost almost as many lives as the Vietnam War. It determined the result of last year's congressional election.

Yet the American news media do not want to talk about the Dirty War, which remains between the lines and unreported. In fact, to even suggest that the war exists is to be discredited. So let's start suggesting, immediately.

No matter how crime figures are massaged by those who want to acknowledge or dispute the existence of a Dirty War, there is nothing ambiguous about what the official statistics portray: for the past 30 years a large segment of black America has waged a war of violent retribution against white America.

And the problem is getting worse, not better. In the past 20 years, violent crime has increased more than four times faster than the population. Young blacks (under eighteen) are more violent than previous generations and are 12 times more likely to be arrested for murder than young whites.

Nearly all the following figures, which speak for themselves, have not been reported in America:

• According to the latest US Department of Justice survey of crime victims, more than 6.6 million violent crimes (murder, rape, assault and robbery) are committed in the US each year, of which about 20 per cent, or 1.3 million, are inter-racial crimes.

• Most victims of race crime—about 90 per cent—are white, according to the survey "Highlights from 20 Years of Surveying Crime Victims", published in 1993.

• Almost 1 million white Americans were murdered, robbed, assaulted or raped by black Americans in 1992, compared with about 132,000 blacks who were murdered, robbed, assaulted or raped by whites, according to the same survey.

• Blacks thus committed 7.5 times more violent inter-racial crimes than whites even though the black population is only one-seventh the size of the white population. When these figures are adjusted on a per capita basis, they reveal an extraordinary disparity: blacks are committing more than 50 times the number of violent racial crimes of whites.

• According to the latest annual report on murder by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, most inter-racial murders involve black assailants and white victims, with blacks murdering whites at 18 times the rate that whites murder blacks.

These breathtaking disparities began to emerge in the mid-1960's, when there was a sharp increase in black crime against whites, an upsurge which, not coincidentally, corresponds exactly with the beginning of the modern civil rights movement.

Over time, the cumulative effect has been staggering. Justice Department and FBI statistics indicate that between 1964 and 1994 more than 25 million violent inter-racial crimes were committed, overwhelmingly involving black offenders and white victims, and more than 45,000 people were killed in inter-racial murders. By comparisons 58,000 Americans died in Vietnam, and 34,000 were killed in the Korean war.

When non-violent crimes (burglary, larceny, car theft and personal theft) are included, the cumulative totals become prodigious. The Bureau of Justice Statistics says 27 million non-violent crimes were committed in the

US in 1992, and the survey found that 31 per cent of the robberies involved black offenders and white victims (while only 2 per cent in the reverse).

When all the crime figures are calculated, it appears that black Americans have committed at least 170 million crimes against white Americans in the past 30 years. It is the great defining disaster of American life and American ideals since World War II.

All these are facts, yet by simply writing this story, by assembling the facts in this way, I would be deemed a racist by the American news media. It prefers to maintain a paternalistic double-standard in its coverage of black America, a lower standard.

Earlier this week it was reported that police in Wisconsin were not going to charge black teens who engaged in mob-style attacks at the state fair with hate crimes. That’s despite the fact that frantic 911 calls and eyewitness reports said the teens were specifically targeting whites. Now, the Associated Press is reporting that one of those teens has admitted to targeting whites because they were “easy targets.â€

About 50 teens arrested in Philly curfew crackdown

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- About 50 teenagers were arrested for violating a newly enforced curfew for minors aimed at cracking down on mobs of young people responsible for random attacks on people as well as property damage, police in Philadelphia said Saturday.

The arrests began about 9 p.m. Friday downtown and on South Street, a 10-block strip of bars, restaurants and stores on the edge of downtown that has long been a hangout for teens and 20-somethings, said police spokeswoman Officer Tanya Little.

Mayor Michael Nutter announced last week a curfew of 9 p.m. for those under 18 on Fridays and Saturdays downtown and in nearby University City, home to the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University.

A first arrest could mean a fine of $100 to $300 , and parents could be fined up to $500 for successive violations by their children. In other parts of the city, the curfew remains 10 p.m. for those under 13 and midnight for those under 18.

Other measures in the crackdown included increased enforcement, a campaign to get business leaders to register their security cameras with the police department and extended hours for about 20 youth centers in the city.

In one mob attack last month, a man ended up in the hospital with broken teeth and a wired jaw after a group of teenagers attacked him downtown. Hours later, a crowd of young people assaulted four other men. An 11-year-old boy was among the four young people arrested in the case.

Nutter took the pulpit of his own West Philadelphia church last weekend to call out teenagers involved in violent mobs that have left several people injured in recent weeks and said parents need to get more involved in their children's lives.

"You've damaged yourself, you've damaged another person, you've damaged your peers and, quite honestly, you've damaged your own race," said the mayor, who is black. He also called out absentee fathers and neglectful parents of teens involved in the attacks, many of whom are African-American.

Teen mobs are full of kids whose dreams have died

CRIMINAL violence on any level shouldn't be tolerated regardless of who's committing it. Having been raised in South Philadelphia, I've seen how the cycle of violence has plagued members of my family, classmates and the community as a whole.

Understanding this firsthand, however, doesn't lead me to conclude that I fully understand the youth who participate in violent teen mobs. But I do believe that our city's children shouldn't be considered monstrous, aggressive or "terroristic." They aren't savages or morally or spiritually bankrupt. This thinking is an easy out for those who don't want to consider the factors that would lead the children of our city to act in a violent manner.

My attempt to understand the behavior of these children shouldn't be construed as an effort to excuse the brutality that we've witnessed over the last several months. But it should remind us that what we've seen is a symptom of a larger issue and that efforts to label the actions of these young people as meritless thuggery could do some harm.

As executive director of Philadelphia's Youth Commission, I've ventured out to all corners of the city to engage young Philadelphians in a dialogue that could shed some light on the pressing question we all have when we see these senseless acts of aggression splashed across our TV screens and newspaper pages - why?

Why would you attack someone who's done nothing to provoke you? Why are they acting like this? Initially, the young people we spoke with couldn't help us answer these questions. They were just as perplexed as we were.

They desperately wanted to sit in class without fear of assault. Or be able to play in the street. They craved order in their communities. These young Philadelphians were not likely members of any violent mob. They were dropped off at a church for this session by their parents. They articulated the problem and voiced their frustration. They discussed their plans for a brighter future. They were going to go to college, get married and leave the city.

Not finding the answer, I reached out to Family Court and asked to meet with some of the young people under their supervision. I thought these young Philadelphians might be able to give me a different perspective. I just didn't know how different their perspective would be.

Poor little thugs had no choice. If you dont get your dreams fulfilled you go out and beat somebody up.

About this epidemic of black-on-white assaults, we hear nothing.

America has watched the UK explode into riots, and meanwhile we have our own symptoms of riot potential showing up, and the American media is turning a blind eye. This is very scary territory, where the our news organs become fully propagandistic in nature, actively ignoring obvious realities.

Black criminals choose white victims 45% of the time, while whites victimize blacks 3% of the time. More than twice as many whites are murdered by a black than cases of a white murdering blacks.

This is one to savor. Honest voices are telling the truth about the serious race problems we have now, and the Obama administration's heinous role in exacerbating them.

The Associated Press is reporting that at least one of those arrested in the Wisconsin State Fair beatings said the mob was targeting whites, making it a hate crime. Where is Eric Holder's civil rights division? About this epidemic of black-on-white assaults, we hear nothing.

At the Milwaukee fairgrounds, dozens of black teens suddenly appeared, knocking over children, looting the Midway games and stealing prizes. They pulled whites from cars, flung them to the ground and punched and kicked them in the face. At least 18 people were injured, including some cops.

A similar beat-down took place August 2010 at the Iowa State Fair. Organized as "beat whitey night," bands of black teens targeted white kids, fracturing one of their skulls. Then the thugs swarmed police, hitting one cop from behind and busting both his eye sockets.

Earlier this month in Philadelphia, marauding black flash mobs beat and robbed tourists and other innocent bystanders. Several people were hospitalized, including one man with a fractured skull.

Mayor Michael Nutter, Philly's second black mayor, said enough is enough. In an angry lecture from the pulpit of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, he blasted the punks, saying "you have damaged your own race."

Similar attacks are under investigation in Los Angeles, Chicago, Cleveland and Washington, D.C., where our first black president remains mum.

Why isn't Obama equally disgusted by the black pack attacks? Perhaps because his own church glamorized the thug culture. His mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, told his South Side Chicago flock that those committing black-on-black crime are "fighting the wrong enemy." During the 2008 presidential campaign, Geraldine Ferraro condemned Wright for preaching to young blacks that "it's OK to beat up on white people."



Imagine if the flash-mob victims were black instead of white. Holder would have launched a special investigation. With the races reversed, he just shrugs. In so many words he has said blacks are incapable of hate crimes because of their victimhood.

"There is a pervasive hostility toward (prosecuting) these types of cases," said Christian Adams, a civil rights attorney who quit after Holder refused to prosecute the New Black Panther Party for intimidating white Philly voters in 2008.

To Holder, blacks are the permanent victims. But his department's own data say otherwise. In most cases of interracial crimes, the victim is white and the perp is black. And despite underreporting, blacks commit a disproportionate share of hate crimes. In 2009, almost 20% of known offenders of hate crimes were black, even though blacks make up just 13% of the population.

Holder presupposes all problems afflicting the black community come from the outside — racism, poverty, etc. Nutter make no excuses for bad behavior.

"Take those God-darn hoodies down, especially in the summer," the Philly mayor scolded black youths. "Pull your pants up and buy a belt 'cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt."

He added: "If you walk into somebody's office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half-down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won't hire you? They don't hire you 'cause you look like you're crazy."

Candidate Obama vowed to stand up for a civil rights unit that enforces laws "fairly and justly." If his attorney general doesn't pursue these black mob cases as hate crimes, punishing the offenders, he risks giving white racists an excuse to respond in kind.
