Send an email (below) through English First to your Representative requesting their support for the American Elections Act, which would largely eliminate use of bi-lingual ballots in federal elections.

[English First] Americans Elections Act

English First has long fought to make English the official language of the United States. One of the primary reasons for an official language was to ensure that our nation remain united by our common language. For two hundred years our common language has been the glue that held this nation together. Today, we are beginning to see what happens when this strong bond is weakened.

Bilingual ballots serve as a dramatic example of how the lack of a common language opens the door to division, corruption and the destruction of the very pillars upon which our nation stands.

Why does America need bilingual ballots at all? Among the requirements of citizenship in the United States is the ability to read, write and speak English. And since only citizens are eligible to vote, there is absolutely no need for bilingual ballots. With your help, today, we are going to take the first major step to ensure that English is the only language used to vote for candidates in U.S. elections.

Congressman Dean Heller (R-NV) introduced H.R. 764, the American Elections Act, "to require that ballots used in Federal elections be generally printed only in English". Thank heavens we still have some Congressmen left who care about what's good for America. H.R. 764 already has 36 cosponsors, but the bill is being bottled up in a Civil Rights subcommittee by far-left leaning Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York.

We intend to alert the media that the Congressman who is chairing the Sub-Committee on the Constitution and Civil Rights seems to be deliberately doing whatever he can to stop a bill that would restore the American people's faith in the ballot box. But our success depends on your participation. Your own Representative can play an important role in applying pressure on Rep. Nadler to move this bill through his committee.
