Alert! The DREAM Act amnesty is re-introduced in the House and Senate!
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Congressman Howard Berman (D-CA) have introduced their latest version of the DREAM Act (S 729 and HR 1751). In spite of the lofty rhetoric, the legislation is really a sweeping amnesty for a broad range of illegal aliens who meet certain minimal educational requirements.
In fact, the amnesty is even more expansive than last session's DREAM Act. The legalization would cover "children" up to the age of 35, a five-year bump above the previous version. Adult amnesty recipients, or minors when they turn 21, could then petition to bring in other relatives.

I just read that the Senate version has picked up 11 more sponsors. All Democrats of course. Plus they freely admit that they will not stop at legalization only for "students." They will go all the way once they win this.
Many of the "students" indicate they plan to go into lobbying and advocacy professions when they graduate. It's obvious they have the Plan de Aztlan down.
What is the status in the House? Anyone know?"Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

populist, the thing that makes the strongest impression on me is that 'Bama and the 'Crats have complete disdain for Americans. Lost your home, too bad; lost your savings, too bad; work for GM? That's really too bad, 'cause we want to lock up Congress with those grateful illegal voters.
'Bama and the 'Crats have such disdain for Americans that they don't even try to disguise what they're doing. Hey, you didn't believe that thirty years olds qualify as students? Well, screw you, we've upped the age limit to thirty-five.
I honestly never expected to see the day when Democrats were so completely disdainful of Americans who are suffering.

You're right vistalad. The Democrats know they are screwing the very same working class people they claim to represent, but their political calculations trump everything else. It really is disgusting.

These elected officials have just thrown the force of law in America out the window and are doing what they please - they are lawless, (or outlaws, depending on how you want to look at them). They're arrogantly running the government exclusively now, and so there is no balance - no one to threaten them except for the people, and they have half of the people snookered into believing their lawless activities are just what we need.
If our government officials (both elected and hired) who swore an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, actually did uphold the Constitution, we wouldn't be having these problems.
This lawlessness throughout government throws the burden on the people to become law enforcement and to force government to obey the law. This assumes, of course, that we the people know the law and that we can respond before we are disarmed by Obama and his thugs.
My message to you all: The solution to the lawlessness problem in government is now up to you and to me. We have to do it. There is no one else to help.
