Friends of ALIPAC,

When states like North Carolina, Utah, Oregon, Indiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Florida, and Missouri needed help to pass immigration enforcement laws, ALIPAC activists from Texas and California have responded to the call!

California and Texas are Border States and the American states, with the largest populations. Both of these states are in the worst trouble imaginable because of illegal immigration. Many of the news reports we collect at ALIPAC indicate illegal aliens are going to these states, due to their strength in those areas.

Today, we need ALIPAC activists from every state to come to the aid of CA and TX. In my travels and talk radio interviews across America, I have stated that California and Texas will need the help of the rest of the nation, to pull them back from the illegal immigration nightmare they face.
Let's all pull together to start laying the groundwork in these two states, with our calls and activism.
WE CALL FOR MORE IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IN TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA.

Step 1: Please review these sample messages and craft your own from our examples.

"I am calling to ask Governor Schwarzenegger to veto any pro-illegal alien legislation like the California Dream Act and to do more to combat illegal immigration on the state level. His promise to keep CA from giving licenses to illegal aliens is not enough. A historic number of states have voted to crack down on illegal immigration this year, and no states have passed laws that give benefits to illegal aliens yet. We need California to do a better job of fighting illegal immigration and we need Governor Schwarzenegger to show some backbone on this issue."

"I'm calling to ask Governor Rick Perry to do more to combat illegal immigration in Texas. He should consider calling the TX Legislature into a special emergency session to address the issue, since many state lawmakers have indicated they want to pass immigration enforcement legislation as soon as possible. Texas is becoming a border disaster area, due to illegal immigration and many Texans are dying because of the lack of Federal and State action."

"I'm calling to ask Immigration and Customs Enforcement to increase the number of raids, the numbers of illegal aliens arrested, and the number of employers charged with crimes nationally, with special focus on the high impact states of California and Texas. Recent studies show that immigration enforcement encourages many illegal aliens to leave on their own. America's illegal immigration crisis is the result of ICE's under enforcement of our existing immigration laws. I want to see ICE go into high gear and crack down hard nationally and in CA and TX!"

Step 2: Pick up the phone and call the three contacts listed below to convey your message, then follow-up with a letter, fax, or e-mail in that order of priority. Please remember that calls and letters are the most effective but go with e-mails, if you simply cannot afford the piece of paper and stamp or five minutes to assemble them.

We need every ALIPAC activist from every state joining those on the ground in CA and TX behind this effort. This action alert will be followed, with another activation next Monday. Remember, what we say and do today can result in payoffs later, if not immediately.

ALIPAC will be sending an official letter from our organization to these sources this week.

I agree we need to hit this Alert FULL FORCE!!!!

Called ARNOLD. AB 2076 still hasn't passed the Senate. It's in the third reading. I asked that if it came to his desk for him to VETO that bill. It is a bill that PROHIBITS CA cities, counties, and the state from using the E-verify system. After seeing NC ICE Raid of Mills MFG, the plant that makes military parachutes, that is absolutely beyond the pale to prohibit governmental agencies from using the E-verify. I also gave my opinion on tightening sanctuary city problems in CA.

I made the calls and left messages. And am now in the process of sending them emails. I believe as Americans we must all dig in and help to save OUR country!
