Do you think that green cards should have expiration dates? Then follow the link and the instructions in the first post and let your voice be heard. After that, post here that you are "done."

P.S. It only takes a few moments to do this.

    Sosadforus,

The green card holders are the ones that followed the law. They should not make you mad, its those who do not have a green card you should have a problem with. A large number of people on this site are LEGAL immigrants or married to LEGAL immigrants.

I agree in the expiration date provided notification is given to such an extent that the only way these people wouldn't know they need to check in for an updated card would be having their heads buried in the sand or they died.

All green cards should have an experation date. I believe in legal immigration with limitations, I don't think they have kept legal immigration under tight enough control.

We have 9 guest worker programs and I think it has gotton out of control and their useing these programs as a way to promote their globalization, which I don't mind if the American citizens jobs are protected which at the present time they are not.

We need to get all immigration under control and figure out just what we are doing. immigration is affecting citizens, Job pay, health insurance, retirement ect.

I also did not mean to leave the impression that green cards in per say make me mad, the thread is about green cards with out dates, that makes me mad, I am sorry but any body in our country who is here to work should have to renew their card, one reason is if we ever go into a recession and alot of Americans are loseing jobs to the people with green cards , or on any other program they should have to go back to their home countrys and jobs should go to Americans first. I don't have a problem with legal immigration as long as Americans are protected in their own country first and formost. There should be an experation date on any card or on all programs.

That's right Cayla. We do need the expiration date. Remember we have people like the 911 hijackers who came legally, overstayed, and we know the results. I feel those who want to be here and be good residents will have no problem with this change. It's those who want to abuse the system, but theft who would want to fight it. I would say they would have to register within the 120 days. I still haven't received my passport.

Can you believe the mess if we had government controlled medical. UGH
