Just hours before he’s scheduled to turn himself into authorities and go to jail as President Bush's next political prisoner, US Border Partol Agent Noe Aleman welcomed Todd Hartley into his home to share his last remaining hours of freedom.

Also at Agent Aleman’s home during my call was Patti Compean, the wife of Border Agent Jose Compean and Andy Ramirez from Friends of the Border Patrol.

Patti Compean told me about her first visit with her husband in jail, which happened over the weekend, how he’s doing behind bars, the strain this has placed on their relationship and how she’s raising their three kids on her own.
