Thread: ALIPAC: Americans Jailed On Military base?

We want the Feds to nab the bad guys and give them a fair trial and punishments for crimes, but we do not want American citizens incarcerated on military bases.

Am I reading this correctly? Are American citizens that are to be considered innocent until proven guilty currently being incarcerated on a military base and held by military authorities and staff?

i dont know if this means they are being held by the military or if they are using a brig that might no longer be used by the military because they arrested to many people at once that there is really no other place to put them at this moment

Fort Hamilton is a United States Army fort

It is my understanding that US Citizens are not supposed to be handled by US military acting in a law enforcement capacity unless it is a dire case of uprising or disaster.

You are correct , the military cannot be used for a police action

They could however be used to protect our borders , that is not a police action against citizens of this country

I'm sure this will get capped on real soon if it is the military that is guarding and holding them

Holder is involved so that squirrel is trying to get away with it

Eric Holder and the Obama administration conducting large sweeps and incarcerating American citizens on military bases should not be tolerated.

This could be a dangerous precedent.
