    ALIPAC EMERGENCY MODE: OCTOBER 23, 2007

    ALIPAC Early Birds,

    In about 30 minutes, at 8am EST Tuesday, we are going into full blown Emergency mode here at ALIPAC.

    We will need as many of you as possible to stay with us during today's activities.

    We must finish off Governor Spitzer's license plan in New York State TODAY. The bill we need has passed the state senate and the Assembly WILL VOTE TODAY.

    Also, we will have to divide our energies and start back in on the Bad Dream Act...

    ON THE SAME DAY.

    This is going to be tough.

    If enough of you do not respond today, then what forces we do have will be heavily divided and the risk for failure on both projects will be great.

    We need to win today.

    We are going to need you during this emergency.

    It figures they pick the one day i have to be out of the office till this after noon

    when i get in, ill kick hard in the right direction...
    If all our people show up today i could be back by noon...
    its a good opp. for me to try out this new cell phone...
    Im with you W. I worked on some emails last night and sent them out the A.M.
    you guys got me after i get back ... but i have to be there...

    OK, I am calling those assemblymen whose last name begins with "B" to start with. If everyone would pick a "letter" and report here which one that is we can focus our efforts on getting the entire assembly covered with calls by at least one ALIPAC'er this morning. Then we can backtrack and put in further calls.

    I'll be here most of the day.
    Because I'm from Massachusetts, calling my Senators is a waste of oxygen, but I will call the White House.
    One note: I know that Senator Kennedy had emergency surgery last week...and I understood that he was to be out for a few weeks. Does anyone know if this will be one less "yea" vote?
