Thread: ALIPAC New Account Information

Some one said it takes minimum of $25.00 to open an ALIPAC member account. I think some people just don't have that money. I don't know if this was misunderstanding or not. Could you please confirm this? Don't we need all the help we can get as far as fighting illegal alien issue goes?

If this is true, may I ask why? Thank you.

yongmi - I could write quite a lot about this but will defer comments to W (William G) in this case. He has ultimate say over this and related matters.

I will explain the best I can. Normally we would not have had any fee, except that with so much of the OBLer's coming in and attempting to disrupt us and sabotage our efforts and reputation, it was felt that a small fee would be a deterrent to those simply wanting to use our site to their own advantage, against us.

I have been explaining this to people I have referred to ALIPAC and explained it this way, all have so far been very understanding.

(Hope I did not overstep my bounds in explaining this, there was a posting in General Discussion about this a bit ago too, but did not think to look up the posting link.)

Thank you both for the response...I guess we can't have everything. The fees may have prevented trouble makers, but this person is a legitimate patriot. When did ALIPAC started on the fee? I didn't know there was this discussion. I wish I could visit more often becasue I do love this group!

We want as many people as possible to participate, but it was just getting out of hand with all of the evil stuff the illegal aliens and their supporters were posting here daily. Lots of vile language, pornographic pictures, threats of violence, etc....

It was starting to interfere with our work and they never really offered any substantial debate so we changed policies.

Thank You jim. I have kicked around this sort of idea to myself and wondered how to accommodate people that are truly stretched to their limits but also want to badly participate. If I could do so, I would do the same.

I would certainly encourage anyone else that is able to sponsor someone in such a circumstance to step forward and make yourself known.
