    ALIPAC Website Downtime

    Hello everyone,

    We are so sorry about the website being down for 2.5 days. I really appreciate everyone's calls of support.

    The short story is that the new high capacity web server company we migrated to dropped the ball and when they did it then became a struggle to get a response from their staff on a weekend.

    The site stability may still have issues as we move her again.

    Please let us know if you spot any problems. It would not be a shock if she goes down again as we smooth out the move.

    Welcome back and we will try to resume full operations on the site as soon as possible.

    Glad the site is back!

    The downtime demonstrates the need for a back up system.

    For example, I needed to contact Ohioans active on ALIPAC for a time sensitive project but I couldn't since I had no way of reaching them.

    Is there a fall-back site we can go to during "emergencies?" Any suggestions?
