    ALIPAC Activists,

    Welcome to the ALIPAC website on our new, and much improved, web server.

    Anyone notice anything different? I'm noticing a lot more speed which is what we need!

    Not everyone is back with us yet as our new DNS location on the web will take a little time to update for everyone. Our traffic gauges say we are at about half normal volume right now, but let's hope this speed holds.

    We had to upgrade to a new higher capacity (and more expensive) server to handle the new traffic demands on our website after setting new web traffic records for the last two months in a row.

    On the old server, we started blowing some fuses when over 1,500 people were on the site at once or our page views exceeded 6,000 hits per hour.

    We do not know what our new upper range will be, but we will find out if we keep growing rapidly like this.

    Please let me know if you spot any new problems that pop up. Sometimes there are things we need to fix after a move.

    Also, let me know if you are noticing any improvements.
