Yes, I understand these are not new "laws". My view of the 2nd Amendment is that there can be no laws at all of any kind against guns by the federal government or any other government, because it says this right can not be infringed. They may be able to regulate the commence with laws and regulations regarding safety and product assurance so people don't have defective firearms, the same way they can regulate food, baby clothes, toys or automobiles, but that's it in my view. Private businesses can restrict firearms in or on their property if they so choose. But that's it. And that is all there should be.

I don't like guns, don't have one and don't want one. However, there may come a time when I do want one or several or a bunch, and I want my right to purchase on the spot, in privacy, without any government intervention, registration, waiting period, permit or anything else other than a receipt for payment and a good warranty. That's it. And that's all it should be in my opinion.
