    Start calling Rep. Nathan Deal in Georgia and co-sponsors of the current bill and tell them we support the effort to end birthright citizenship. I have been doing this for a long time.
    More importantly, we need to call our representatives and have them sign on as co-sponsors to the bill!

    My representative is a co-sponsor and yes, if yours is not, they need to be at this time. The momentum going our way with the crack up of the Senate Bill may help to swing this to passage.

    Be under 18 years of age;

    Live in the legal and physical custody of the American citizen parent; and

    Be admitted as an immigrant for lawful permanent residence. In addition, if the child is adopted, the adoption must be full and final.
    What Is the Effective Date of the Child Citizenship Act? T
    he effective date of the Child Citizenship Act is February 27, 2001. Children who met these requirements on that date automatically became American citizens. Children who were 18 years of age or older on that date did not acquire American citizenship from the Child Citizenship Act of 2000.

    The automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegals is a big problem. The cost from conception is humongous for the American taxpayer. Unless it is appealed it will continue to be a big problem. From conception they are eligible for all benefits of an American citizen. Pre-natal care, AFDC, food stamps, medicaid and SSI for life if they are disabled.
    Temporary guest workers who will be able to bring in their families and during the time they are here produce an anchor baby will not be deported back to Mexico. So there goes the[b] “temporary guest workerâ€
