A friend of mine and I were talking about how to solve the problem of anchor babies. I don't know if this was his idea or not, or if anyone else on this board has heard of this but he said that what hospitals should do is set up a room that serves as a Mexican embassy and when a pregnant illegal comes in during labor, you make her have the baby in that special room. That way she is technically having the baby on Mexican soil and the kid isn't considered an American citizen. Then you send them both back to Mexico and bill the government for the kid.
