Thread: The anchor baby issue needs to be addressed as well

I believe an effort to have 14th amendment amended to close the anchor baby loophole is of the upmost importance. This door must be nailed shut as well. A push for the national ID/tamper proof SS card and employer verifacation/enforcement. It is time to start throw throwing these renegade employers in jail with the wall street frauds.

YES THIS IS URGENT!!!! THEY ARE DROPPING BABIES AS WE SPEAK.....AND THOSE BABIES WILL HAVE BABIES. AND PROBLEM IS, WE HAVE TO SUPPORT THEM.

The Anchor Baby Policcy is actualy in Supreme Court Justice horace Gray's gloss on the Wong Kim Aek Case and not inherent in the Constitution.

So, does this mean that all of the anchors everyone assumes are citizens, are not?

This is what confuses, and concerns, me about the issue. Everyone is assuming these kids are citizens. If the ammendment has been being misused all along, then they are not citizens and there should not be a policy of "Oops! Well, since there was a misunderstanding and everybody thought these kids were citizens, we'll let them be citizens and just start over from this point on."

Where do we really stand on this?

It's just a dream of mine (since I'm a mere taxpayer it will never come through but it's my fantasy) but how much nicer would the country be if.......
The 14th amendment was changed to exclude children of illegal aliens in the US.
Here is the true fantasy.
It was made retroactive back to the last 1986 amnesty and all those anchors are now ineligible for state benefits and we did a government audit and demanded to be payed back by the country that they originated from!!!!
Or at least expose how inept and corrupt the government is.

If we did get repaid we could pave the freeways with gold!

I also am sick of supporting them and it also is a big red flag to come here illegally!!

So, is the federal government once again NOT ENFORCING their own laws?

Are they just letting these anchors go through, without preventing it, even though it's not supposed to be done, even though it's against the Constitution?

Or, did that one case make it such that they ALL can be anchors?

Not only that but it will mean a Hispanic takeover in this country when they become the majority with all of their anchors.
