Where is this woman from? One of the pics is titled "Little Brazillian" there is all this gangster looking stuff all over her site, pictures of her in an elite resort in France, etc...

Is she Hispanic? Greek? Spanish or Italian?

If this woman turns out to be an immigrant, legal or illegal from South of the Border, with gang ties, ties to organized crime, and big big money.. well.....

Report: Hooker Behind Spitzer's Fall Revealed

NEW YORK — "Kristen," the high-priced prostitute whom New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer is believed to have hired, has been identified by the New York Times as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, a 22-year-old aspiring musician and native of New Jersey.

Dupre, who was born Ashley Youmans, now lives in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, the Times reports. She appeared in court Monday as a witness against the four people charged in the alleged prostitution ring known as the Emperors Club V.I.P.

"I just don't want to be thought of as a monster," Dupre told The New York Times in a telephone interview.

Spitzer announced Wednesday he would resign effective Monday after news broke that investigators had linked him to the Emperors Club.

Sources have identified him as the investigation's "Client 9," who was caught on tape setting up a tryst with a call girl named Kristen.

Dupre grew up in New Jersey, before moving to North Carolina in her teens, her mother told the New York Times.

Her mother, who didn't know her daughter was an escort until she called her last week, told the Times she doesn't think her daughter knew who Spitzer was at the time of the incident.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the name, particulary since you don't know if this girl was adopted, whether or not her mother gave birth to her before she remarried, etc...

But yes, it is English.

This prostitution ring does cross international boundaries though-it operates in N. America and Europe. The girl who cooperated with the fed. investigation, not this one, is apparently Brazilian.

This does trace back to organized crime though. Most of the reports seem to indicate that one of the big five-maybe The Bonanos-is involved in this.

My interest in this is that illegal immigration and organized crime are completely tied together.

Organized crime syndicates are experts in vice, blackmail, and bribery.

Once a politician or influential person engages in prostitution, drugs, or criminal money deals, organized crime can document that and then has them on a chain.

I wonder how many people in the US Government are under the influence of organized crime because they once ate forbidden fruit?

Geraldine Ferraro's husband was mobbed up. There were well-substantiated rumors that Mario Cuomo had family relations who were involved with the Mafia, but I've never heard of him being implicated directly.

I would be shocked if there weren't dozens of Nevada politicians who had ties to organized crime. Plus, you have Arthur Coia, who was a huge contributor to the Clinton campaign and was indicted on racketeering charges. The Teamsters under Jimmy Hoffa and Jackie Presser were also heavily involved in politics-backing Nixon to the hilt.

Those are just the names I can come up with off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are others.
